"By law they have to offer the local channels at something approaching cost"
And they're not doing it, since broadcast is free. and since they bundle channels nobody wants, it's not an antenna replacement. Aereo was.
Aereo was renting you an antenna and DVR since some people can't erect antennas or have poor reception since the digital transition (UHF propagates poorly around obstacles compared to VHF)
And if I set up an antenna, a DVR, I don't have to pay any license fees. Aereo is renting me an antenna and a DVR, I don't see why they should have to license free OTA programming.
If I was lucky enough to get in space (and die in the process), I would be honored to have a space funeral, be it launched into space, back to earth and burn up in the atmosphere, or launched into a photon torpedo while Saavik cries...
Police sent files to my workplace (I don't have solid enough proof), In an illegally fashion, but it's not like they're gonna be punished for that... (relegated to a desk job or suspendend with pay)
" People not finishing their meds after they feel better is what creates nasty bugs"
Agree, but then again, unless you kill 100% of the critters, the 0.001% that survives (and is immune to that antibiotic) will reproduce and create a strain that is resistant to that same antibiotic...
MACH 1.98 *official* speed, that's for the Mark1 with Pratt & Whitney J75 Turbojets, could have been even faster with Iroquois engines (that was in 1959), it tested faster than that on its first flight even with the J75s, but was lowered down to 1.98 because they wanted to sell the Iroquois engines.
Stop disinfecting and over-cleaning everything. Remove the Purell crap. Let kids eat dirt.
1- It will force people to build their immune system (I'm not always sick like younger generations) 2- If you stop killing 99.999% of all bacteria, it will put an end to super-bacteria (the 0.0001% that survive and reproduce)
I *never* use any kind of medicine (unless I have no choice), I never use band aids on nicks and scratches (don't disinfect them either). I have no food intolerance, food allergies or other weird ailment.
That was my point. That kind of maintenance is not needed on a modern car. Plugs do not need to be changed for at least 100k, same goes for clutch, etc...
Maintenance will be replacing brake pads from time to time, tires, and changing engine oil & filter (way less often than those old cars).
What about *gameplay* (what makes a game worth playing)
Half-Life, DooM, Quake, Quake2, X-Wing series, even some games on my C64. I'm replaying Tie Fighter on an old Ppro200 with an Ensoniq Soundscape Elite soundcard, the gameplay is amazing, the story too. Graphics are crap compared to today's games, but the iMuse music is one of the things that make that game almost perfect.
Dozens of hours of gameplay. (unlike modern games)
I seriously hope you are joking. Replacing distributor caps, rotors, sparkplugs and wires every now and then, using a timing gun if you touched the rotor, adjusting carburetors, the list goes on.

A dead body hitting a spacecraft at those speeds would probably not end that well

Build it at a smaller size, with modern weaponry and avionics, kinda like the Dassault Mirage...

Lucky. 1.52/L in Montreal (of course it's not related to both national holidays)
Yet if anybody else tries that, it's jail time for obstruction of justice...
Still have it on my shelves
Yet if a tax-paying citizen does the same it's obstruction of justice.

Agreed. I'd buy a wagon Fusion in a heartbeat...

Is that even possible?
Kinda ironic.
They went from owning Lamborghini to being owned by FIAT...

I don't really miss that...
Might be luck, might be an exception, but my Agility 2 is still kicking after 3 years, half of that was under XP (no TRIM).
I've had 4 spinning drives (Seagate) die or get bad sectors in the same time frame.
Please...
