That's why you have backups... Seriously, I've used my Agility 2 for about a year in a XP machine (no trim) without disabling anything, and it's still humming along perfectly in my newer machine. Besides, I do backup on a regular basis (as anyone should do even with spinning platters). I wouldn't go back to platters for my OS drive.
I'm glad they put a 16:10 screen in it, but 2880*1800 on a 15" doesn't really make sense IMO. Putting that kind of res on a 24-27 monitor (in 16:10 format) would make more sense.
I can live with the glued battery and proprietary SSD, but the non-upgradeable RAM is a turn off.
Seriously, The Cablecos and Telcos won't probably even bother. In an *ideal* world, they would do it to save bandwidth (and therefore not charge their costumers for that bandwidth), but I really doubt Videotron, Rogers, Bell and all the other money-hungry monopolistic providers will do it. It would eat into their Rape-the-customer-tv business. Besides, since we can get about third-world country 50GB/month of bandwidth here in Quebec, how many hours of Netflix does that give me?
Those big ISPs already have a bunch of cdn servers (Akaimai comes to mind), but they still count their usage towards your monthly cap, even if it doesn't cost them a penny on their peer links (since the content is already mostly cached).
Where I grew up, the big bad *evil* big cableco hadn't bought them out yet. We couldn't get Videotron, we had to settle with Telecable des Milles Iles. They didn't have that fancy Videoway *interactive* terminal, I remember being pissed off because my friends in Montreal could play Burgertime on their STB and I was was stuck using a Jerrold piano-like channel-switcher. But you're right, French-Canadian TV had way more T&A back then...
Last week at my local library, some kids were checking Kama Sutra books. When I was a kid, we would play with the TV fine tuning just to get a glimpse of adult encrypted channels.
Besides, if it wasn't for sex, the human race would have become extinct aeons ago...
That's *exactly* what has been missing from their lineup. A mini tower with standard processors and hardware. Now it's either an underpowered mac mini, a non-upgradeable all-in one, or go all the way to a 2500$ machine. That's exactly why I've hackintoshed my installation.
It's different. You're talking about something that came out almost 15 years ago. We're talking about something that's not even 3 years old (and way more expensive than Win98).
I know people here like to bash on Microsoft, but thay are going to support XP through 2014. Windows 8 will be out. That's 13 years, and *3* versions later.
Considering the insane price Adobe sells CS, You'd think they could at least fix security holes for a little while.
That's how I cured my cat allergies. I couldn't even stand to see a picture of one. So I got one... It was hell for a couple of weeks. Now, 16 years later, no reaction whatsoever unless she scratches or bites me. Even other cats have almost no effect on me now. If you always sterilize, remove germs and ultra-clean everything, of course your body won't know what to fight.

Not that hard it seems...

Seriously, that resolution *and* IPS in a laptop?

*open a different door, replace hard drive, install OS, done.*
Darn those evil manufacturers, forcing you to install an OS on a blank drive. What world are we living in?!?
I have a hunch money's involved...

Seriously, how can someone be so stupid?
Do they have an education system in your country?
Internet? books?

It was all done on a network drive in Notepad. (Ironic thing is it was a security-related department)
Was that episode "Thinking like a dinosaur" ?
I *loved* that game...
Stellar 7

Nah, she's always been a little spunky when she plays :)
Most Bell and Videotron customers would *love* 150GB. Here we have a 50GB limit.
Yet someone who downloads a couple of CDs pays a 1 Million fine

That would imply those in power aren't above the law. Politicians, police and rich people don't have to obey the same laws as ordinary people.
And use its monopoly so OEMs would not use AMD processors
I'm really confused now... What exactly is that *outside* you're speaking of?
What the hell are you smoking? some of us like women that look like women, not little girls
