"Even those countries that have legalized drugs (and sex)..."
Wow...I'd hate to live in one of those countries that hasn't legallized sex...although I'm sure they'd have some of the lowest birth rates in the world!
Something tells me that if we started a war on caffeine, we'd have a whole new front in the war on terrorism to deal with. Millions of coffee-starved Americans calling themselves 'Al-Qafeen' would rage throughout our streets spreading chaos and discord...
Remember Popeye? Cartoon sailor who would gain super-strength after downing a can of spinach? Well, back when the character was created, spinach was thought to be an extremely iron-packed vegetable. It wasn't until decades later that it was found out *the decimal was in the wrong place!* Scientists will make mistakes, that's a given. Sometimes, they're prone to make mistakes on _very_ large orders of magnitude. Just a little something to keep in mind.
Ahhh, those wacky choose-your-own adventure books. For me growing up, they lost their novelty pretty quickly, until one day I decided to read them cover-to-cover. Now *that* makes for an interesting story:
Pg. 1 You wake up and brush your teeth
Pg. 2 You die from the alien anal probing.
Pg. 3 ????
Pg. 4 Profit!
Pg. 5 You go downstairs and have a bagel.
In my opinon, a *much* better story erupts when you read it like that:D
Interesting price quotes...especially when I usually see 2L bottles of Pepsi/Coke/etc. for $.99 and 3L bottles of offbrand stuff for $.79 (this is common to both east coast and west coast shops). I try to avoid sodas as a personal preference, but whenever I'm out and about and I need something to drink, I will ALWAYS buy soda over bottled water just because of the price. Hell, often times 100% fruit juices will be cheaper than the bottled water. Bottled water is really nothing but a status symbol, having very little benefit otherwise.
If you'll take a look at the little icons next to the story, you'll find that it's cross listed under law and money as well. The way the checkboxes work (someone please correct me if I'm worng on this) is that it'll block out any stories that are listed *only* under star wars. So to not see this story, you would have to have law and money blocked out too. This is the same deal for people who keep seeing the political stories. It's not broken, it just works in a way contrary to what you expect ^-~
You (and anyone else for that matter) should hit up http://gmailswap.com/ if you really want a gmail account. I'd recommend checking out the "Neat, Nifty, and Noteworthy Swaps" for a good 10 minute chuckle.
Easier? Easier? *sniff* Where's your sense of style? If you wanted easy, you could always just push someone out of a tall building...although combine it with this...it'd be veddi interesting to see someone shatter instead of splat ^_~
The temperature at which it becomes a solid falls as the concentration of áCD increases.
So...if you were to put this in someone's bloodstream with the right concentration, you could cause it to solidify once it reached standard body temperature...
Wow, 6 hours and no one's thought to take this yet? C'mon people, it's clear this could have been the way to untold riches!
1. Register "Twisted Grind"
2. ????
3. Profit!
Now how hard was that? Now if you need me, I'll be on my yacht...

Or I could "purposely" use your comment as a segue to announce that I drive a BMW...a '79 320i that cost me $350 ^_^
Mmmm....yummy!
Take a look at the quote, you can lower the freezing temperature by altering the concentration...

I hate to repeat myself, but I think this little property here is what makes the compound good for several *ahem* bodily applications.
I *knew* I'd heard of that somewhere before! Thanks for clearing that up =^_^=
