It will be more expensive. Mercedes asked me the equivalent of $150 to replace my side mirror. Only the glass - no enclosure. And I have to give them my details for the privilege of buying it. You'll be paying $2000 if your 17" monitor cracks.

The lower the league you play in the bigger the chance of receiving high tackles / fouls. I see this in many sports. Maybe it's due to amateur referees, maybe the players are too aggressive. If someone clawed(!) you that person should have received a straight red card.

It is illegal to tackle above the shoulders in rugby. You must also perform a tackle using your arms, not shoulder a player. We have very few cases of head trauma.

I have my doubts about the Enhanced Edition. Even the webpage is not up to the usual high Bioware standard. And you'll need an always on internet connection to play, and have to pay constantly for DLC. No thanks, I'll buy the original from GoG and use the BiG World project.

  24. Re:Way too confusing on Why Desktop Linux Hasn't Taken Off · · Score: 1

I mostly agree with your response but not the reasoning that "Windows also has X problem". That does not make it OK for Linux to have the problem.

But yeah, bug reporting and resolution on Linux is way better and more transparent than on the others. You do get some people who throw their toys and won't fix, but seeing some people just bitch and moan on the bug threads without providing any troubleshooting info means the devs have my sympathy.

Strangely Windows has never broken on me during an upgrade. That could be because my last Windows was XP. Ubuntu usually breaks my nVidia graphics and sound. Usually easy to fix - kinda like reinstalling a driver to get a broken Windows working.

I'll just stay away from the GPL argument :)
