Hush is immeasurably more sexy than that piece of junk. Then again what do you expect from this kind of article, clearly it's just advertising disguised as news.
I went to the Apple Canada store, hit Education, selected University of Toronto, googled "University of toronto student id digits", noted the student ID is 9 digits, entered 9 random digits, et voila, accessed the education store. They will probably only investigate if you make an extremely large or repeated orders. Although since I'm posting this on slashdot, maybe they'll crack down!
While you may think your country is a bastion of freedom, there are a number of books which are illegal in Australia under the Publication, Films and Computer Games Enforcement Act of 1995, which provides for a maximum of ten years in jail or a fine of up to $120,000 for possession of certain books.
Probably because they are rapidly shifting the physical location/ownership of the server to a country with sensible laws. I don't see why all these sites aren't using the same host as PRQ, then this would all be a moot point.
Most of the data is not going to come from the impactor but from the flyby spacecraft. The flyby craft will wait outside the comet's coma where it will be free from contact with dust or other matter ejected from the surface of the comet. The impactor's primary function is just to slam a big hole into the comet so the flyby spacecraft can get a peak inisde/reading comprehension
Just like if you don't like Internet Explorer you can stop using it right? Well, almost. The more crap Microsoft integrates into the OS the harder it is to avoid using said components. I use Firefox as much as possible, but due to the way Microsoft leveraged their horrific IE into the OS I still unavoidably must use it on occassion. I absolutely love VLC, and try to use it pretty much all the time, but the more MS leverages their components into the market the more likely my ability to use VLC will be decreased. This isn't like Walmart, where the "just don't shop there" sentiment I see tossed about actually applies. They are designing in components so that I can't shop anywhere else.

Most Korean's I know are making about $60k per year mid-career. It's the regions outside of Seoul that really drag the per capita income down. Still their exchange rate has surged from 1250Won/$ to 1000, so they are doing quite well. Just thought I'd clue everyone in who seems to think Korea is some backwater shit-hole where $20 is a fortune, it's not. Communication is just cheap here, probably due to population density in large part, and also partly due to a very technocentric culture. Having the latest 80 megapixel camera phone is a necessity of life to the younger generations.
Think of all the charges in a protein composed of hundreds of amino acids, each composed of dozens of atoms. Now imagine those charges ineracting during protein folding, in a solution. Let's say that process takes a few miliseconds. Now imagine modeling this process at the femtosecond resolution.
This system is severely underpowered.
You are comparing the cost of a fuel with the cost per kilowatt of a cell which uses free fuel. This is completely idiotic! You can't even talk about $/kWh with a solar cell, why is there a time unit in there? It's harvesting energy from the sun.
Let the wild speculation begin! I predict the iMovie store will play an integral part in this along with the new chip-based 3ivX encoder, and the cell processor system, and some sort of robot sent back from the future. Oh my!
I'm getting the same problem. VLC, WMP, and QT, none of them works.

For the record, Azureus is a piece of crap.

What about descriptions of how to grow marijuana? Or of how to speed without getting a ticket?

Better to be legally bulletproof than traffic bulletproof

I had to stop reading when you mentioned you were using IE.
