If you want manufacturing and jobs to 'come back' to the US, how about we stop penalizing US operations AND stop rewarding off-shore manufacturing (e.g. China = 'Most favored trading partner')???

I DL'd the latest Linux Mint (XFCE) version and installed it on my Father-in-law's computer. Grief right from the beginning with it partitioning, then not wanting to install to the partition then more headaches from there.
The pollution and energy consumption required to manufacture the new cars out weighed the pollution and energy savings of using the old cars throughout their useful life.
That's not true.... If we don't go back to Standard Time, we will be permanently out of sync with the rest of the world's time zones. This will cause effort to someone, some time, somewhere...

Leave it to a politician.... The time zones are set.... Don't throw the US permanently out of sync with the rest of system. If you REALLY want that extra hour, CHANGE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS!!!!!!
If government and schools changed their business hours to 9-6, private businesses would follow until 9-6 would become the new standard.

Soooo, you're saying that companies are having a hard time setting up manufacturing operations inside a country that is very hostile to domestic companies, domestic manufacturing, and encourages moving jobs overseas with things like "most favored trading partners" and "free trade treaties"!?!?!
