Because lawsuits costs money... It takes THOUSANDS of dollars to pursue a civil suit and most people can't afford it. On top of that, class action suits are usually brought about by a lawyer(s) who really could care less about justice and care more about taking a percentage of the gains so, they take a gamble.
It's not a fair system but, it's better than nothing and could be much worse.
LAWSUIT RULE 1: The only people who win are the lawyers.
It is but instead of giving up citizenship, we're killing off US companies and selling what's left to the chinese... Different method but you get your desired results.
I'm a Slacker and I have NEVER missed Gnome. Just got a new netbook and Slackware 13.1 works like a dream on it.
I friggin' HATE Debian (and it's derivatives) because of stupid things like their affinity for sym-linking EVERYTHING and goofy-shit like Enabled-Sites with httpd.
Wow! Your school was anal! I started high school in 1980, in 1982, I took the one Computer Programming. Funny thing was, the teacher was learning programming also so she would go to class at night and then come in and teach us what she had just been taught. Funny thing is, I read ahead in the text book and within a week, was far ahead ofthe teacher but, I digress.
We had two ASR33 ttys with acoustic modems that allowed us to dial into a HP2000 computer (at the Mathmatics and Science Center on Mountain Road for any Richmonders) that was shared by the whole district. We had to store our programs on punch tape and turn in printouts showing our programs and the outputs. We also had an early model Apple II. Our school system wasn't afraid of us using the computers. That was a fantastic class and an experience that I am very grateful for. Thanks Henrico County!
I have to say the Linux client worked WONDERFULLY... It ran much faster on my Slackware box than on my XP box!
The problem was that the game documentation sucked and therefore my game experience sucked because stuff was so aggravating to figure out.
I would have kept up my subscription but, their documentation and support just blew... Maybe they should look more at that as the reason for lack of growth...
Also, your 'proof' doesn't prove anything... Lakes and rivers have been drying up since they first appeared on Earth. Deserts size have been changing also, LONG before man ever came into the picture.

We just have to kill off the blue monkeys to get to it.
"The Retina MacBook Pro is a lemon because it won't run Linux"
There, I fixed your title for you...

Happy?

Forget it, just go buy a new chinese made mp3 player!
Don't blame capitalism, blame the Board of Directors. They could block the sale if they wanted.
..and that's because they are a manufacturing based economy and NOT a service based economy (which is what America has been/being pushed into).
Service economy = lose in the end.
Manufacturing economy = win.

BTW, I'm still looking for an ASR33 (hint hint)
After working at a VOIP provider (yes, in a technical capacity), I say: "you can shove VOIP up your a$$". Gimme POTs, it is FAR more durable.
No, we would give our mass... Weight is so common-man... Mine: 185 lbm
How's that slow suicide working out for ya Britain?
Yes, aghe is the correct unit.
Meters per hectare is soooo crystal clear.
Same could be said for food...
Cheap food = more people = more emissions/pollution.
Also cheaper food = lower price point that organic alternatives have to compete with.
Do you see how dumb your argument is now?
I saw the documents for sale by a street vendor in China... Next to CD copies of Duke Nukem Forever.

-1 for referencing wikipedia.

Nice try though.
He gets paid $.65 for every apology he makes!
Exchange is the biggest piece of crap! I have wasted hours of my life administering Exchange and it sucks!
Simple things like moving mail and configs from one 2007 exchange server to another (on a different Active Directory) should be easy but it's not.
I'll take Sendmail anyday over exchange (and I HATE sendmail).
1) We are forced to give "hundreds of billions to dodgy bankers" all the time...
2) Suicide bombs go off in Baghdad quite often...
John Galt shouldn't be on your mind citizen, you should concentrate on important things we provide like American Idol.
So, basically, two versions of RedHat were included and no Slackware?
I guess they were scared of Slackware's awesomeness!
