Who says you need the entire 30GB to START playing? That is where Valve is messing up... Give me the first level (which has most of the models and at least one song) and let me get started. Then stream it down at low speed over the time I am in the game. If I hit an area that I don't have... Kick up the speed and tell me an estimated time to load. I think this would work a lot better on games. How many people make it all the way to the end of the game?
Yes, we do all the time. Why?
I don't get the Java naming convention. Why the complication. C# 1.1, I know that that came after 1.0. Java 2, SDK 1.5 what is that? Is it version 2 or NOT? Java is a fine language, but I hate their naming conventions!!!!
I think you're right! CAN-SPAM has finally worked! I dug through my own spam archive and came up with over 3,678 messages with their domains in them either pulling an image or with a link to one of their sites.
No, he wanted a get out of jail free card!
WHO in the right mind goes that fast and panics by calling the cops and asking them to clear the roads for him...? Maybe he watched SPEED (1) the night before and wondered if cops would really do something so crazy.
Forwarding all your mail still needs you to have 1gb to store it in somewhere else.
No you don't. Because you can DELETE it! Who keeps 1GB of mail? I only keep important messages and from 1995 till now my entire Outlook pst is only 480MB. If I read the terms correctly Google is reserving the right to keep your mail forever and do whatever it wishes to with it...
Is Google becoming the Borg? Resistance is futile!
Why wait until you hit 120? I wasn't talking about it then... When the car first went out of control. But you are correct that the pads would burn off. A flat tire might be better than impacting another car at 200 (I think he said he hit 200). ANYTHING is better than getting on your cell phone and having a converstation about it! This is TIME TO PANIC.:)
Maybe it's the type of music I listen to then... Being a child of the 70's, I listen to a lot of 80's stuff. Most of what I listen to is at the stores, that's probably why I am the only one there buying!
Here's an idea... The EMERGENCY BRAKE... Isn't that what it is for? And he couldn't turn OFF the cruise control? Wierd. In all the cars I have owned it is a on / off type of thing, but if that failed and stuck on, how about that hand brake?
I have never had anyone refuse to do business with me because I wouldn't give them my phone number.
I stopped at a gas station off the Florida Turnpike a while back and the GAS PUMP asked me for my phone number! It would not accept my credit card without it, and would not allow me to skip it. The manager said it was for "security". Isn't that the same argument we got for the Patriot Act? Hmmm,...
I'd love to know what numbers he's using to arrive at his assertation that "most people" still steal music.
Maybe they did an informal poll at Microsoft headquaters and THEY were all stealing music. That's got to be it. Since they are the industry standard, ipso facto we are ALL stealing...
They want it to be a ubiquitous language. If Java can't be run on ony OS, then Sun loses.
Then why not make the versioning information more clear? Version 5, Java 2 SDK 1.5? What the heck is all that about?
I would say that if no developers want the language then Sun loses...

Did anyone ask Steve Balmer? Maybe they are all iPod users. :)
Isn't that when the Hummer 2.0 came out? :)

Wooh! Now I can burn microwave popcorn from my office down the hall and have the microwave tell me before I smell it!

1) ZERO
2) 10% From the old MP3.com. And I did pay for their CD's from MP3.com as well.
3) ZERO
4) 90%
5) ZERO
Guess I am the wierd one here. I actually go to a store and PURCHASE my music the old fashion way... What a concept.

When are we getting the real Palm OS 6, with such badly needed features as multiprocessing and a file system?
Multi processor? WHAT? On your Palm? Maybe you got this confused and want a laptop? Oh wait, that's right there are no multi processor laptops either!
