    You may insult me all you want sir but there is a proper way to immigrate to this country. If people chose not to respect our laws to get here how what kind of citizens will they be when they are living here?

    I am no xenophobe who wants a wall built around our country. I just want to make sure we know who is moving here and why.

    While what you say sounds good, I truly believe that if the Allies would have taken that approach during the second world war freedom around the globe would have been crushed.

    The world we live in would be a very dark place today.

    I know quite a few police. I have not know any of them to contact employers, media, ect. until they where making an arrest. They will not make an arrest unless they have a case. If this system flags a legit file they will no waste there time with you.

    You are not that important to them. They are over worked and under paid.

    This is simply a tool. It is used by law enfocement. It doesn't go "against" any right. It is part of an investigation. Again you are missing the point. If p0rn bot here see's you post a pic of a "cartoon" 6 year old getting gang rapped it may flag it an add it to a file. Then when the investigator sees that the file is leagal he will move on.

    How does this ruin you life or violate any of your rights?

    Nonsence, police will still look at the evidence it turns up and they will not destroy your life while they are investigating you. It makes the job harder.

    You are assuming that the police will prosecute even without looking at the evidence the system turns up. I still have no sympathy for people who distribute or seek child pornogroghy even if it is animated.

    No, they do check for dupicates. while the host number it does broadcast to make sure there are no duplicates.

    Sounds to me like they are talking about the automated IP address that Windows 2000/XP give to themselves when there is no DHCP server available.

    Why make the investment on a Mac? Granted they may be more secure but can I run my tax software on it? Can I run my office applications? Can play a few commercial video games? Will I be able to VPN to the office and back again?

    If I can do all of the above I have not lost any functionality. Again I ask those who may know. (I have never touched a Mac) Why make the move?

    Any body who has made the move how was the transition? Any regrets?

    First off those targets in New York were civilian facilities. They were filled with civilians, simply going to work. They where not making bombs devising battle plans or scheming to rob the middle east of it's money.

    Secondly the planes the hit the buildings where civilian planes filled with civilians. These attacks closed the skies of the US for the fist time in history. Nobody felt safe, the nation was gripped in fear.

    As for the military factor if they were attempting to knock out our command and control centers they knew that taking out 3 targets would come no where close. Not to mention the only reason I could think of for disrupting the said channels (from a tactical stand point) would be to faicilite a military attack or a retreat. (there was no on going conflict to attack or retreat from at the time)

    Then you have them claiming responsibility. What military advantage is there in that? They wanted nothing else than to kill Americans, put fear in people.

    They did both, they were terrorists.

    Actually many of these bot's will patch the machine after it is infected to prevent exactly what you are talking about.

    Odd, I have had different experience. I have consulted for and worked for many companies that give preference to certain certifications over CS degrees. The managers involved I talked to stated that while a CS degree does show theoretical knowledge their experience has been that Certified professionals have greater "working" or "practical" knowledge.

    I myself have no degree but a numer of certifications and have had more success finding and maintaining employment then many of my colleagues who do not.

    Working in the banking industry I can tell you that the majority of phishing attacks are carried out by organized groups. (mostly easter block in our particular segment) None of these well funded well organized groups will have problems creating the said trojens.

    You missed the point however, if you have created a successful phishing site the user will log you in no matter the authentication method. A phishing site by nature is a "man in the middle".

    Actually that would only be true if they built them to order. They do not. They have inventory so the loss is up front the sale just lessons the loss.

    May I ask why? You supported them when you purchased the XBox. Why not buy games for it. If a software developer puts out a title that is to your liking and of suitable quality why not pay the company that produced it?

    Please elaborate.

    That people who only have a passing interest or curiosity in a game would pay money for it. (outside of a rental)

    Now if they could download and burn the same game they may be more willing to give it a wirl.
