If the BMW doesn't have satellite radio, and that is an important enough criteria to you, then don't buy a fucking BMW.
If the iPhone doesn't do what you want it to, don't buy a fucking iPhone. In the US, iPhones work with AT&T. Don't want AT&T, don't buy an iPhone.
I am sick of these idiotic arguments. You hacked it, you knew hacking it was contrary to the warranty, Apple warned you TWICE before applying update, you applied update. And now you think it is Apple's fault?
I have a DirecTV Tivo. It doesn't work with Dish Network. Can I sue Hughes, the manufacturer, for not providing me the ability to make the Tivo work with Dish? They locked the box! I demand that they unlock it!
This has always been. In the old days, before TM started selling online and you actually had to wait in line at the local record store to get a ticket, I remember several times being first in line to buy tickets, only to see that the TM guy had already printed up a stack of tickets and put them off to the side. This occured at several different outlets. Too much money for a minimum wage record store clerk to turn down.
And if you were told about all those restrictions prior to purchasing the car, and you purchased it anyway, then you have no right to bitch whatsoever.

You missed out, Call of Duty 1 and the expansion, United Offensive, were by far the best games of the series and put COD2 and COD3 to shame. MOH games have all been mediocre. Brothers in Arms is coming out for the 360, lets keep our fingers crossed that it doesn't suck.
By the way, did you try the demo for MOH before purchasing it? That demo was all I needed to know it was crap.
You didn't mention Bioshock...by far the best game for the 360 yet.
I am repeatedly denied boarding and re-screened simply because I have a two word last name, as shown on my boarding pass, credit card, passport, and nearly every form of ID I have, except my driver's license, which shows it as one word. I have been told by the DMV many times that their computer system is incapable of dealing with two word last names.
Read the damn article. This guy did not have it OFF.
"Levy said he didn't expect data transfer charges internationally because he believed the data network in Europe wasn't compatible with the iPhone. The Levys brought their phones with them for voice calls."
He had it on, but assumed that he wouldn't be charged because he thought the systems were not compatible. Nothing to do with having it on or off.
He didn't leave the phones turned off. Read the damn article. He left them on.
"Levy said he didn't expect data transfer charges internationally because he believed the data network in Europe wasn't compatible with the iPhone. The Levys brought their phones with them for voice calls."
Read the damn article. Half the arguments on this board are moot if everyone would just read the damn article.
He didn't think it was turned off. He just thought the data plan wouldn't work so he figured he wouldn't be charged.

Ok, ok, we understand you hate WoW and Blizzard, that is fairly obvious. But how dare you assume that since you find WoW unsuitable FOR YOU, that it isn't suitable for anyone else, particularly gamers. Millions of people enjoy playing WoW, or they wouldn't be spending $15 a month for a subscription. But, since you don't like it, those people aren't "gamers" they are achievement junkies who are unsatisfied in their lives and must play WoW to make up for their lack of achievement in real life. The world doesn't revolve around you and you don't get to decide what is fun for everyone else. If you don't like it, don't play it. You might want to take a look at your self, and think about why you feel the need to be at the top of the game. It is obvious that since you couldn't be at the top, you decide that it is the games fault, and that anyone who plays it is not a "gamer". Talk to a therapist, you need some help.
Yes, I have both 25 year old CDs that play perfectly (none of my 20+ year old CDs have failed) as well as a 22 year old player that still works. At least the player still worked when I tried it out 5 years or so ago. It is in storage now along with my other old electronics (stuff like a Apple II+ and a Timex Sinclair 1000) that might, though unlikely, be worth something someday.
This comment brought back memories. In the dark ages, whenever anyone in my group of friends bought a new LP, we would all get together and daisy chain our tape decks (Cassette) together so we could all get a recording of the FIRST play of that LP. Decks and cables everywhere, arguments over the order of decks in the chain and whether or not 3-heads were better than 2-heads, who had the best or newest stylus for the turntable or who had the joint last...ahhh, the good old days. Now we just email the flac files around, not as much fun.
Great, another "Mine works fine, therefore they all work fine" posts.
You know, my car has never broken down. So why the hell are there so many mechanics? If my car hasn't needed repair, no other cars have needed repair either. How do those guys make a living?
I am sure it is Apple's fault somehow.
Join the lawsuit!
Thanks for the source, I was not aware of this flaw.
No, your iPhone is dead thanks to a-hole smilindog2000.

Off topic and all that, but I am curious what the "fatal design flaw" is on the iPhone?

What the hell are you talking about, you are a kid!

"If they are out in the battlefield, actively working to destroy members of our military,"
Then treat them as prisoners of war.
But that is beside the point. Not all of these people detained were plucked off the battlefield while firing at US troops. Where do you draw the line?

Nintendo Wii
No, it updates email when it is in sleep mode.
If you actually turn it off, it stops updating.
Either way, auto update of email is turned OFF by default.

As has been mentioned about a dozen times in the comments, auto checking email is OFF by default. This user had to turn it on.

I have a pair of underwear that just turned 25. Maybe you two could go out?
I will join the crowd and say that all of my CD's still work, and I have about a dozen from 1985-1986.
What concerts are you going to that are only 74 minutes long? At ticket prices these days, I would be pissed about such a short concert.
Great, another "Mine works fine, therefore they all work fine" posts.

Wow, only 6% GST? The sales tax in Los Angeles County is currently 8.75%.
