    you missed germany.
    well germany lags a bit behind the others but in my area (complete state) there is 100mbit available even upstate...........

    kabel deutschland (providing coverage for most of the other states is in the progress of making 100mbit+ available. lots of isps in bigger cities have 100mbit pipes as well...)

    i am running around with 100mbit/s (flat) on cable with landline flat and tv stuff.... 50 bucks/month. and then i rofl when usfags pay up to 150 bucks for tv+internet and internet being some crappy crapcast with something x-mbit/s.....

    i am using pxe often.

    i have setup a few linux install "CDs" for network install, a few live CDs for an emergency OS. LTSP is using it too and a small intel atom box gets its kernel over tftp/pxe... the pxe provides the parameters for the nfsroot mount.
    old win2k netinstall for ppl without a RIS uses that system too :)
    the tftpd box that provides all that stuff is a small amd geode that is normally my router :)

    i often thought about making a sourceforge project out of it.... :)

    the issue with microsoft is was the IE story and somewhat governmental.
    the companies complaining about google/youtube are not governmental.

    the cloud shit has little to do with that. it is 'just' youtube and its ginormous traffic amount....

    google was just smart by becoming an ISP and having a connection at certain locations. not my problem that the business of traffic to another provider is such a retarded one. tough shit for the other providers, i paid to use google and youtube... stop complaining!

    i use spf and DKIM. works fine :) well it is a low traffic domain :)

    the bigger issue will be ppl that forward all their shit to other mailboxes... it is always "great" to see lots of it being rejected due "spam"

    disable forward - enable pop3 fetch.

    i have no issue with embedded ads that are not annoying in fact i am more likely to click an ad that does not annoy me :)

    but those that open new windows or have something on top of the page... -> do not want. well usually those ads are on pages i wont visit anyway because of worthlessness ^^

    there should be a html tag content this way i could allow adblocker to allow those ads...

    too bad it would be abused the second it is on the market making it ad absurdum. :(

    amd geode is really slow but takes about 5 - 10 watts. i use it as a router and want to put more stuff on it soon.

    intel atom takes up to 40 watts iirc but is kinda fast compared to amd geode. also there is a big variety of boards out there. some are shipped with a pci-e16x slot - you could add a raid controller or something like that...

    also the atom boards with the nvidia ION brand can do HDTV playback - so it would also be applicable as a media center...
