well lets think about this.
1) Take it down: 3972 members thinking "oh the site's just down temporarily"
2) Put up the cool USSS site: 3972 members scared for their lives so that they stop their illegal activities and turn themselves in to USSS. (Not to mention have a mental breakdown next time they see Mission Impossible!)
Hmm..I think it's a damn good decision.
"Dubbed Operation Firewall, the Secret Service identified a group of people who stole over 1.7 million credit card numbers as well as a passport-forging facility in Bulgaria"
This sentence is correct because of the use of "as well as." Now substitute "and" then it would be a poorly written sentence. But yeah, you do have to reread it!
What makes that picture especially scary for the members when they visit it is that there is no computer in that jail cell. No computer for 10 years?!? That's worse than a death sentance to some of them!
Hey this is the kind of case law enforcement needs. Take down the big boys. As much as some of you like to flame the USSS, you gotta give them credit for this one!
So the USSS go and INTERVIEW the person who wrote this. Not arrest. Not indict. Big deal? Although the agents probably know the context of the blog, they cannot take things for granted. They would be failing in doing their jobs.
Now, let's consider other countries where if someone would be jailed and even killed for making these kind of statements about their leader. Is it really so bad to be interviewed??
strange how this got into this thread. belongs in the "Beagle3" thread. oh well. messed up the HTML anyway....
This is the real Beagle the Brits should have used to get the job done right the first time!
http://christiancarling.com/snoopy.htmlThis is what the british government needs
Doesn't life go downhill after 35? SPAM, phishing, vulnerabilities, DDOS....I guess it is true then!
So when does the Internet have it's mid life crisis and buy itself a new cherry red convertible Cray X1?
So we can call them the "Hommies?"
