I would think that the next year will really show us the future of Novell in the enterprise. With all that Novell has been doing with Suse. Not one my favorite distros nor is Novell my prefered directory service. As in the past, my prediction is that it will be a slow and painful death for Novell. Either that or it will be bought up in chunks, not really coming out the same company in the end.

I guess that in some way in my own mind it legitimizes the 'illegal' downloads. As an added bonus, I get to hit the RIAA where it hurts 2x.
That's the marketing campaign Dell is using on this soon to be failure. And here it is 3 days later...spreading like wildfire I tell ya! Even their own sales reps were unaware.

I would have to agree with you here. Just because I like a song, and chose to download it, does not mean that if I couldn't download it that I would run out and purchase it.
So therefore, I was not a real sales loss. I think that most people fit in to the same category as myself.
Also, Y is the guilty party. X only provided the oppertunity for Y, X didn't make Y a Y, Y did. Totally crazy and confusing, reminds me of calculus...
