Items of interest (to me at least):
8.9" WSVGA TL 1024x600 (WLED) screen
2.20 lbs w/ 4-cell battery
Bluetooth via mini-card (apparently not included)
CPU 1.6 GHz, 533 MHz, 512K single core
Intel Atom N270 Diamondville
Thanks.
Hope it does come in at the $299 price...
"Rapamycin costs about $1,000 per month"
For the rest of your life. Wow. I guess that's still a price that someone would be willing to pay if it would benefit them.

Probably being unethical? I respectfully disagree. Have I done this? Yes. Do I feel guilty? No. Does that make it right? Not in and of itself. But pray tell me what ethical code am I breaking by finding a hard-to-get item and selling it at market value?
(Note that I refrained from using the term "fair market value"! I agree that, on one hand, it seems unfair to sell these at 2x retail. But if people were not willing to pay that, then, well...)
It's simple, pure, unadulterated capitalism.
BTW, you *did* go on to say that they could sell it if they want, etc. Just pointing out that I don't think it's unethical.
Can anyone point out some good sites that review/give options on which video cards to get?
Was gonna jump on a HD-capable capture card earlier this year just because of the mess with the Broadcast flag, then it was okay again, then it was a mess again, etc.

Yes, but cars *can* be powered by elecricity. So nuclear energy *does* have something to do with our dependence on gasoline.
Cool. So just keep us informed as to what your mother buys you and we'll all buy the opposite ;-)
