I don't get why they're making web apps anyway. I mean if you're going to make something that only works in one web browser, on one operating system, why not just make some native code? Maybe they feel like it's too much of a pain to do the GUI in native code. But then, why not use Java? It would be less of a hassle than a web app.
You don't lose the privacy when you like something. You lose the privacy when your friends like something. Then everyone and everything on their list can see what they've liked. Indeed, the guys I tried to keep out of my profile still have pictures of me cause they got on my daughters' friends lists. But I knew the risks cause I set my stuff to be available to "friends of friends". I didn't know they'd take stuff I didn't make available and make it available anyway.
I think you would have to be out of your Vulcan mind to hurt her again. You could be sacrificing your relationship with her forever, just to see Spock for a moment.
I don't think it would be hard for Apple to make a good competitor for Photoshop, especially if it were the only option available for a Mac. Consider how Final Cut Pro compares to Premiere. Although I haven't used the Mac versions, I personally think if they are similar to the Windows versions then the biggest loss there would be Dreamweaver.
In this case, it doesn't matter. They can just go to the website. That makes more sense to me anyway, because then they don't take up space on the iPod with an app that only shows them what they would see on the website anyway.
I have found there are guys who prefer you to be a little machine-like. Maybe feelings and emotions bother them. Maybe they'll prefer this over a really realistic model.
If Apple gets on the level of Microsoft, that could be a good thing. Because then we have two equally competitive system makers and neither has the total control that Microsoft has had. The fact is, Windows 7 was not "my" idea. Apple came up with a new style to stay competitive and Microsoft ripped it to stay competitive. As long as we have two competitive players, there will be "innovation". As long as we only have one, there will be Windows ME.
I'd like to know if anybody has a link to reports of the Toyota problem outside of the United States. Like, are there any acceleration problems outside of countries that are desperate to make General Motors look better than Toyota?
Computer error messages are terrible. The average person, with a stolen hard drive, will see a message that says "operating system not found" and have no idea their hard drive is specifically what is not found.
You should go ahead and do that. Just find a Toyota owner and ask if they're worried, or if they're having any problem with their car. Because, as I said before, it's the Non-Toyota owners who are offering the majority of the FUD.
It won't ensure net neutrality. They'll just ensure (what they want to get through) gets through, and allow (what they don't want to get through) to get censored. It's not so much a problem with filtering. It's more about who decides what gets filtered.
I've personally felt like the whole thing was a scam from the beginning. But I tend to be skeptical of government in general. I just feel like it's easier to run a smear campaign on Toyota than to fix the reputations of General Motors and Ford. But it seems like if the Toyotas have as many problems as the media makes it seem, we would actually see Toyotas having problems. Also, it didn't seem to affect sales. It seems like the only people who don't trust Toyota anymore are people who drive non-Toyota vehicles. It reminds me of the Linux users who say Windows crashes all the time. Also, I noticed recently millions of General Motors vehicles were recalled due to power steering problems. They didn't get nearly as much publicity as Toyota.
Well I'm a woman, almost 30 now. And just like guys (those overly into computers, anyway), I used to think it would be the dream job to get paid to play video games. I think it's incredibly stupid now but where was this when I was 16?
When Google can force "content providers" to allow Google to redistribute their content for free, because Google is the only significant search engine, I call that abusing a monopoly.

They should be required to offer the cash value of the 2-year extension as an alternative.

It is my understanding that the reason for 120hz is because both the 24fps of a movie and 60fps of HDTV divide evenly into 120fps.
I'm not seeing the biased toward minorities part.

Do they have a 64-bit version?
What's so hard about making an app, written with one tool, appear to be written with another? Is spoofing out of the question?

You can install Linux but there's no driver support for the mouth or vagina...
Maybe they just figured out "whooshing" is stupid.
Couldn't you get over the first two problems by assuming all the cars have the engine in the back instead of the front?

As far as I know, there's no Great Firewall of China style ISP-level filter here in America. So how would they even enforce a blackout of a website?
Maybe this is the beginning of one. Maybe they even licensed the code from China.

So what's the purpose of the account?
I didn't see Opera get mentioned...
