    EA just gobbled up Bioware. This is the first PC title that is published by EA+Bio.
    I still prefer a single phone home than continually scratching the DVD, but i will surely apply a no-cd crack if they want me online all the time. I already planned to make the Windows part of my machine offline, it is bad enough updates want me to be online.

    I have a 3-4 years old machine (not real multiprocessor, just hyperthreading, 1G memory).
    When i play HD movies, VLC works perfectly on my Windows, Mplayer playback is jerky.
    I prefer not to boot into Windows, but sometimes i have to.

    Life on Mars will be at best microbial. What if 90% of all life that started in the Galaxy got stuck/snuffed out at that stage?

    What if both Mars and Earth were beginning life from a failed alien terraforming attempt?
    If WE ever try terraforming, not all of our attempts will be successful. We might even 'successfully' die out before actually colonising a given planet.

    Isn't this a plan to find a place for obsoleted technology?
    For all i know, regular HDD is going out of season soon, replaced by chips and memory crystals.
    Why would anyone want to use HDD in the future?

    The problem with this approach is not because they 'take over' your machine (by consent).
    This is just a treatment of the symptom. The cure would be to sanitize and shield luser computers from zombie recruitment.

    And to be honest, the latter are a bigger group, since the former is soon to be only M$.

    Or other wild animals which are hunted for various parts. I'm not as silly to eat tiger testicles as you believe i am. But there ARE other people :)
