  1. Hulu.com on NBC Universal Drops iTunes · · Score: 1

huh hello. Am I the only one who thinks that it is normal that NBC/Universal is pulling its stuff from itunes considering that they announced yesterday their own online video site: www.hulu.com ? source: http://www.forbes.com/feeds/ap/2007/08/29/ap406570 5.html and a gazillion others...

With OS X and even Windows these days, you don't need to RAFM at all. That's where the problem is. "n00b"'s are not the problem. Linux programmers are.

  3. Gmail is not even a good name anyway on New Legal Threat To GMail · · Score: 2, Interesting

It's always a struggle for me to give my gmail e-mail address. I have to spell it. People ask if it is g-e-e. etc. I have to explain "G", as in "Google" In French, it's worse, because "G" in English is pronounced like "J" in French. A real hassle. I wish the service was called Google Mail and that the all the gmail adresses would be converted to @google.com. Everybody knows that word. Everybody would understand that...

You are absolutely right. I don't think iPods will be the sole destination for all this content. A Video Airport Express is surely on the way also.

  7. Messenger is a bigger problem than WMP on PC Makers See Little Reason to Deploy XP N · · Score: 1

I find that the bundling of MSN/Windows Messenger is much more of a legal problem than WMP. IM one of the most used features of average computers users these days. All the "ordinary people" I know use Messenger, because it comes bundled with Windows, and won't switch to Linux or Mac OS X when they find out that they cannot have all the features, (personalised photos, winks etc.)that the all their friends have with the Windows version. I'm sure this issue will be raised by some countries soon.
