If your kid's a nerd they might. Besides how many of their friends can say they built their system? I would kill to have one of those (I know I could make one, but I don't feel like it...).

If we could get rid of Micro$oft and AOL users, the computing world would be so much purer.

*Ahem* Sorry about that, now back to our regularly scheduled broadcast...
I have to agree that Berkley is a pretty biased source. I mean they are known for being liberals.
Yeah, like some of you said, it might be kind of slow and congested, but at least it's a start. I mean, when the Internet first came around, the connection was still slower than what these people will prolly be getting. But nobody ever said that early Internet was useless (it wasn't very useful but it wasn't useless, either). So, I say, it's a step, a small one, but an important one.
No she doesn't really think my opinion is important either. Personally, I don't really care wether or not anybody thinks my opinion is important. I have a right to express it, and express it I will.

Yeah, it has provided good advances in computing, so I take back my earlier comment... I now see little merit in current space exploration
...is it that some Linux users are so afraid of things like this? I love Linux for the freedom it gives me, not the headaches, or the three hour searches on Linux-Google trying to find the instructions specific to my this or my that. It SUCKS! Granted, I don't think we need every distro to be the same. Some should have certain apps and such that others don't, etc... but I would like to be able to download a binary package to install a program and not have to worry about finding exactly the right one. (And compiling from source isn't such a bad thing, either, kind of fun actually). So, alot of freedom is good; a little compliance is good, too.
Because when I tried to upgrade to the 2.6.9 kernel, it screwed everything on my system up. So, why spend the time trying to fix all the weird problems when I can merely stick with what works.
uh... me white
FLAMEBAIT!?!? WTF!? What is with you guys!?!? I think the PSP will suck! I say that and that's flamebait!?!? COMMUNISTS!!! PS, I love using "!?!?"

Yeah, I prolly should have, but I didn't. Oh well...
I almost care! Seriously, though, I think space exploration is nearly poinless.
