It's not so much that the Mozilla Corporation continues to paddle around in the murky waters as it's more about how *content* the Mozilla Corporation is to be in murky waters.
MSNBC - oh yeah... that was that channel that I immediately skip over when I flip channels. Not like there is ever anything worth watching on that channel.
But Microsoft can't actually bring the heat on any of the claims.
For example: Gutierrez also said Microsoft is not likely to publicly list which specific patents it believes are infringed upon by open source software. "We're not going to have a discussion publicly with that level of detail," he said.
It seems to me that it is just more noise from a blowhard company that is losing steam in the arena of operating systems. Sound and fury signifying nothing. Too bad the general public won't recognize it for what it is.
And then some poor alien life forms will contract an illness from the bacteria. This in turn kills off the only other sentient beings besides humans. We will learn of this tragedy from messages recieved from SETI with aliens cursing humans. Oh the irony. Smallpox blankets in space.:P
Kids picked on him in middle school. No one stood up for him.
Kids picked on him in high school. No one stood up for him.
Kids picked on him in college. He bought guns, and killing people.
The only time he every really stood up for himself was when he turned violent. And at that point it was too late. I think it's the culture of indifference that caused this to grow inside an emotionally unstable loner. It has nothing to do with the music he listened to, games he played, or lack of prayer in schools. Society did nothing more than try to ignore him, while he finally refused to be ignored. And in a tragic and unforgivable way, we all stood up to finally pay attention to what he had to say.
Maybe he should have tried standing up for himself in middle school, or at the very least had the common sense to understand that sometimes people are going to treat you unfairly and maybe it's best to just blow it off. Life isn't fair. Instead of building a wall he should have made friends with someone instead. I got picked on too. That argument doesn't hold water. The same goes for high school and college. The simple fact is that he was a complete psycho nutcase that held the world in contempt and had no regard for life. Even his own. The blame lies squarely on his own shoulders.
Whereas Doubleclick stood for all that was wrong with making money, you stood as the shining beacon of how to do it with class.
And now? Forget it. Screw this whole "Don't be evil" thing, where the hell is the next paycheck coming from?
I wonder if AltaVista is still a decent search engine...
Absolutely nothing else needs to be said here. Doubleclick is one of the many scourges out on the net and Google wants to buy them? There is a serious conflict of interest there if Google still means to "do no evil". But we all know that Google didn't really mean that when they said it. It was just part of their marketing machine.
Once you consider how many americans are supposedly still on dial-up it stands to reason that some portion of the zombie bot-nets will be hosted on corporate americas computers instead of in the home.
what they want or what they deserve? I know if I worked there, I would hope I could find a better job before they could fire me and would be praying that hundreds of other employees would be doing the same. The next time you visit Circuit City just remember how they value their employees. If they can't be bothered to spend the money on quality help what does that imply about their attitude towards their cutomers.
Bringing the system down counts as an "exploit" in my book. - westlake(615356) The power went out in my neighborhood last night. I hate to think how many computers got pwned because of that blackout. Because everyone knows a kernel panicked computer can be so totally pwned. Like the time a kernel panicked my own computer when I tried to roll my own kernel from source code and hosed something up. I forgot and left the cable modem hooked up. I bet my computer was naked to the world of hackers.
Hahaha.
Heh. More like Sh!t Storm.
Or The Perfect Storm.
Honestly, how did Dell not have a clue that there were loads of Linux using technophile out there that already had a beef against them and would jump at the chance to scold them publicly for any percieved slight?
BTW- I'm a linux user myself so I think it's all a little funny. Poor Dell. Cry me a river.
Your attitude means the terrorists win.
Why are the security cameras on anything other than a closed circuit? It makes no sense for their cameras to be connected to the internet.
yes it is! Oh, wait...

...continues to hang itself. At least we still have Debian. Even though its derivatives will probably all sell out.

Will have its addresses as the newest addition to my hosts file.

Take your mod points, strike me down with all of your hatred...
*snicker*
Wow. You think you are the only person to ever *do* something or see some harshness in the world. You my friend, are a ignorant jerk.
Just like the adage: if you can see it or hear it you can copy it, If a network can be accessed a network can be hacked.
Solid Snake? BROOOOOTHEERRR!
