Just read the news of Slackware 14.0 release want to thank you Slackware/Patrick for teaching me Linux. I started with slack 9.1 and used it for many years as my primary desktop os and also as server for proxies, firewalls, monitoring systems.
Yes I read the news on dawn.com they blocked the whole site. While in other Muslim countries Google coordinated with the government and block only the offensive contents no idea why Google refuses to do so in Pakistani government request.
This still not blocked in Pakistan. Google should block it in all the Islamic countries.. India is not Islamic country however after Indonesia it has the 2nd largest Muslim population.
1) Why Americans start calling freedom fighters a Taliban? The same folks were called Mujahideen when they were fighting the USSR
2) Is fighting against americans is bad and why fighting against USSR was good?
3) Why America/NATO with all the modern weapons struggling to control Afghans even spending 10 years they can't leave their barks without an air support:)
4) why American/NATO looking for way out of Afghanistan?
Quoting from the news paper her uncle said just a nice words
"Speaking to The Express Tribune, Major Ahsan Randhawa, Arfa’s uncle, articulated the family’s grief as best as he could. “We are grieving her loss but she was a strong child”, he said – adding “she was God’s gift to us and now she has returned to Him”.
May Allah peace on her and family
it sound like another fake story and most probably propagated by western media backed by US. cellular network already not functional in north of Pakistan if working then its with very bad reception. most of the time the authorities in Pakistan jam the signals in north/south wazirstan
however i am sure like all other fake stories west will believe on what they get from their Jewish backed media:)
Congratulations to centos team for releasing long awaiting centos 6, I just can't wait right now I'm download Centos 6.0 x86_64 off torrent and then I'll install it as KVM guest.
# For LVM based partition,
virt-install --name centos6 \
--ram 512 \
--os-type='linux' \
--disk path=/dev/mapper/vg_kvm-kvm1 \
--network network:default \
--accelerate \
--vnc \
--cdrom PathToISO
Or for file based storge,
I started my Linux career with Slackware, back then I used to convert all servers to Slackware;) these days I am using Fedora on my work laptop but still follow Slackware version and when get time play with Slackware under virtualization. Right now I am downloading 64bit off torrent of latest version and will give it a try under KVM and Virtualbox.
Another reason of downloading is to share my bandwidth with all the Slackware users I'll try to keep seeding for one month with no limit on upload on my Internet facing server with fat ass pipe to the Internet;)
