There is a reasonable bit more to NoScript than simply javascript yes/no per domain.
java, flash, silverlight, can be blocked audio/video, iframe, frame, font-face tags can be blocked then there is clickjacking prevention and the Application Boundaries Enforcer
(Though some may not be necessary on Chrome I admit I don't know the ins and outs of it's in build security features)
I like FF4 a lot but I can't use it as my main browser until fullscreen Youtube videos work properly with acceleration on an Nvidia Optimus system on win7 x64. In ff4 nightly builds (minefield) at the moment they just show up black, in 3.6.13 they are fine (though the OSDs flicker)
I've tried the flash 10.2 beta and that is worse, it crashes the 32bit builds when going fullscreen with Youtube and they then refuse to be terminated even by task manager:(
The 64bit ff4 does the same with the flash square x64 beta, but that does at least terminate.
Alien 4 deserves half a star for the swimming alien scene and that's all.
I was really hoping this prequel would be a return to greatness, as otherwise you're right, 3 was a bit off a dropoff, but the rest were pure shlock cash in:(
And yet, though I realise it wasn't the only reason (they believe the same logic Google has now chosen to follow) even Mozilla decided it was too much to invest.
It's all very well saying he's suing the middle man, and should be going after the government as wikileaks only revealed what they had done.
but you're STILL going after the middle man then,
sue the doctors who gave names to "hypertension," "depression", "heart attack" and stroke" so that you may be in fear of them, they're clearly the real monsters here.
That's all fine and well for Google and their endless buckets of cash, but what about other companies, or importantly startups who want to get into the game.
They leave out such pertinent points intentionally to encourage you to fill them in and score some easy mod points, instead of "first post" every article.
I bet you'd find they even get removed if you submit with them included;)
Unlike Google, Amazon will have an approval process for applications submitted to its store. The company will be testing the apps to verify that they work as outlined in the product description, and that they don't impair the functionality of the smartphone or put customer data at risk once installed, Amazon said. Offensive content, including pornography, is prohibited. What Amazon deems offensive "is probably about what you would expect," it says. Amazon will also stop applications that infringe user's privacy.
But unless they get some kind of deal with Google, you will have to turn off the option to 'only allow applications from the market place'.
And if they don't get some kind of deal with Google so their apps are accepted without having to do that, then I'm actually not happy about it encouraging so many security-NOT-concious people to do that.
But it absolutely should be a difference taken into consideration if someone chooses to fight it in that context.
Public = maybe tens of people tops see this, maybe in some areas hundreds may pass by, but only a handful will actually look.
On the internet - millions can pass by, and heaven help you if someone finds something strangely interesting about it in whatever strange way (maybe only after changing it in some way), then it will start to become internet sensational and millions will *definitely* look.
For copies of Works purchased pursuant to TOS granting "the non-exclusive right to
keep a permanent copy" of each purchased Work and to "view, use and display [such Works] an
unlimited number of times, solely on the [Devices] . . . and solely for [the purchasers'] personal,
non-commercial use," Amazon will not remotely delete or modify such Works from Devices
purchased and being used in the United States unless (a) the user consents to such deletion or
modification; (b) the user requests a refund for the Work or otherwise fails to pay for the Work
(e.g., if a credit or debit card issuer declines to remit payment); (c) a judicial or regulatory order
requires such deletion or modification; or (d) deletion or modification is reasonably necessary to
protect the consumer or the operation of a Device or network through which the Device
communicates (e.g., to remove harmful code embedded within a copy of a Work downloaded to
a Device). This paragraph does not apply to (a) applications (whether developed or offered by
Amazon or by third parties), software or other code; (b) transient content such as blogs; or (c)
content that the publisher intends to be updated and replaced with newer content as newer
content becomes available. With respect to newspaper and magazine subscriptions, nothing in
this paragraph prohibits the current operational practice pursuant to which older issues are
automatically deleted from the Device to make room for newer issues, absent affirmative action
by the Device user to save older issues.
Not only does the make 'select default PDF handler' option bizarrely trigger an msi installer to run which is frankly a mind boggling way to get it to work if you ask me...
it doesn't actually work! it's not replacing the (default) registry string foxit and other PDF readers set!
Other than that pain, it's the first version of adobe reader I've decided to use since viable alternatives were available, as with any luck this new sandboxing should actually be worth while.
but ignore the iPhone and it's proprietary lock in (with a smaller market share anyway), and you can make a microUSB device which can connect to by far the majority of phones, and then all you have to worry about is your software being portable.
why create an expensive device with more components when you can keep your production costs really low, and your potential user-base really high (due to the much lower selling cost) if you can just use the powerful hardware in other prevalent devices instead?
This way they only need to produce a sensor chip addon, and software to read it that uses the processing power in the phone.

There really aren't enough sensible ways of doing anything for this to work well.
And a HUGE number of galaxy S owners do not HAVE carrier bundles installed at all anyway!!
In windows 7 you can already right click then select 'go to service(s)' and they're highlighted.
Knowing /. I probably should have directly linked the benchmarking method : http://www.esreality.com/?a=longpost&id=1265679&page=3
There has still never been a better mouse performance review than the ESR Mouse Score.

He later reviewed the original Razer Deathadder and ran it through the same tests here :

But sadly I'm not aware of him doing any later tests, I would really love to see him do an ESR MouseScore 2011
peaks at -
97 fps in the current FF4 nightly (pre beta 13)
102 fps in IE9 x64
255 fps in IE9 x86
wonder what's going on there then..
Honestly, surely it can't just be me who thought the audience laughter canned or not was the worst thing about Red Dwarf by far.
Shoot it without an audience, and don't add any recorded laughter either.
Solves both problems.
It's nothing like the matrix sequels though, it's more like lower than the Starship Troopers sequels.... (that also don't exist)

Great, so you can't upgrade your memory card without wiping the phone either?
