    English may not have a separate word for that, but I think "sadistic pleasure" works fine. So English can express this perfectly well, and your point is meaningless.

    I can't remember the lasta time I used my blank CDs for anything illegal, to be honest. I do illegal stuff with my iPod, CDs are for yesteryear.

    Isn't the point of textbooks to present information in a way that makes it easy to learn? You sound like you want a reference manual, which is something completely different (and probably cheaper)

    No, no, not you. I fully agree with your post. I mean everyone who's replied to you. I don't think I've ever seen so many strawman arguments and other [il]logical fallacies in my life, except maybe in some debates about abortion.

    Don't try convincing them of the obviously true points in your post (especially #2, which I have long been on a crusade to get people to understand, even though I am not myself a pedophile), as you have already done so to the best of anyone's abilites and they still refuse to understand. You can turn of the computer. They won't understand, they can't understand, just leave it alone.

    I don't really follow you. Linux is used all the time in the server market, and a hacker probably cares more about high-profile servers than some random home user. So, why will having a bunch of random home users change anything?

    Only problems:

    1) Your refinement of the grandparent's statement was not the reason Bush gave. It was invented after we decided there weren't actually any WMDs.

    2) There are people a lot worse than Saddam. Some of them were installed by the United States.

    Anyway, the reason you gave may have been a good one for invading Iraq, but it, the reason Bush gave, and the reason Bush actually wanted to were three very, very different things.
