Using this, set their access to $-100 (Negative 100) per hour, so that you get money every hour instead of having to pay it. This will surely attract business to the station.
Do you really want all those EM frequencies going through your body? I sure as heck don't! Not enough studies have been done to prove/disprove anything.
I guess putting them in tinfoil may have another benefit.
I'll see what Wagner says about that.
Actually, it IS a federal law, aka "Wright Amendment." Info here.
Southwest Airlines really dislikes this. They try to overturn it, but alas, to no avail.
Now the kiddies will be able to fight what music to listen to in the car. This will surely divert their parents' attention from driving.
This is just like hooking up a clapper ("clap-on, clap-off" - a device that turns on/off lights when it detects a clap) to the lights of an auditorium full of people during a concert.
If the gov't doesn't do something to stop identity thieves, this behavior will continue. In 10-20 years college students, whose identites were stolen will be making big $$$ and will probably have good credit histories. That's where the thieves hit the motehrlode, and the former students won't even know where it came from!!!
It does its job pretty well... however someone overlooked one small tiny problem! When booting to Safe Mode, the user's screen is sometimes 640x480. The program is designed to run under 800x600, which creates quite a nuisance, trying to reach the "continue" button at the bottom of the window.
All this stuff means more work for those of us who have to deal with and clean out end users' comps! So in the end, more money for us!
Damn, I just wish **AA (Recording Industry's Alcoholics Annonymous and Movie Picture Industry's Alcoholics Annonymous) would end up in their own hole at some point!!!
Apple had a similar problem with the 'iMac' trademark. Seems they need to get their act together and start registerring their trademarks before they release the product.
But this doesn't even compare to Microsoft's hicup of forgetting to register hotmail.co.uk !!!
There are some cities, which already adopted the technology. However, these sensors are not feasible for roads with large traffic flow, where timed lights are much better.
On roads with large traffic volume, it is much better to create a timed cycle in order to provide the most volume throughput.
I think that a bigger problem is the so-called "traffic calming measures", where signal cycles get screwed up by wannabe traffic engineers, and cars end up spending more time at stop lights, which in turn means less volume throughput, more burnt gas, and more angry drivers! Although they do have their benefits, I think that traffic calming measures have a very strong adverse effect on everyone affected.

When this thing crashes do you realize how much data is going to be lost? More money to the drive recovery companies!!! :~|
