Yeah, cause US government says that they are terrorists means that it must be true - and they also have weapons of mass destruction hidden in their building too, right?
Microsoft actually has discontinued development of the Windows Media Player (if that's the program you mean). The last version (WMP 9) was released for OS X in 2003. Microsoft has also discontinued development of Internet Explorer for the Mac (last version was v5) and Virtual PC now that Parallels has beaten them to the punch. What you might be referring to is Flip4Mac, which recently released a Universal binary of their Quicktime plugin that allows windows media to be played in OS X (although not always well).
I had success upon using www.live.com with Firefox 1.5.x but have not had any success on Safari. Anyone think that's intentional? Maybe we'll only be able to get the "real" search results if we use Internet Explorer. If they're not going to make the page simple and accessible to all platforms and devices, there's no way that this is going to compete with google or yahoo.
You do realize that in recent polls 80% of Americans support a National Healthcare initiative, over 50% generally support abortion rights and almost 70% percent believe we should be out of Iraq....
It's not necessarily the case that Americans are much too conservative for you, but the dicsonnect between the population and the ruling class has caused an enormous swing to the right becauase of the Republican's reliance on the grass roots organizing of the christian right.

...to the "Information Super Highway?" This was the term I first heard when I read about the internet....you know, Al Gore invented it.
