I don't know about the US and the UK but in India an Epson Styllus Printer costs somewhere around Rs. 5000 and its cartridge Rs. 800. So if you buy 5 cartridges, approximately you pay the cost of a new printer... So I agree with you completely.
The problem and how it was plugged is given here. As there is no general rule for stopping crackers to gain access though all loopholes, there is no way to completely protect a domain.
BSNL, India's largest telecom service provider started the Data-One Broadband service along with VOD and other services a few days ago. So all the better for the Indian surfers.
First, even if I am an avid porn surfer, I would know whether or not I have requested for passwords and that there is nothing called free bread in the porn industry.
Second, if I don't know anything about porn, I might get a bit curious to know what it is. But any person of proper IQ would get cautious by the nude pics that come with it.
Third, if a really dumb guy gets the mail and opens it, he will get suspicious since the extension is.exe which cannot be a password file and if he has already opened it, he might scan his computer for viruses.
So can somebody please explain me what kind of people would actually spread it?!
I am sure everybody here remembers that the first space visitor was Dennis Tito, a millionaire. If Blue Origin does produce a commercial space flight, won't it be too costly for the common people?!
This is what non-geeks would do to shift to Open Source:
Replace Windows search feature with Beagle, browser with FF, Office suite with Oo, Paint with GiMP, etc.
This is what geeks would do to shift to Open Source:
Install Linux.
Free news on the Internet would be like Free journalism. People will be able to post news and well as read others. But on the other hand, the news would not be moderated, hence it may lead to fraudelent news or yellow journalism. So, though we can take sites like NYTimes,/. or Hindustan Times as bench mark sites for news, personal blogs might not be that reliable as a source for news in the near future.
But this is ages old. The concept came around sometime back in 2001. And its going to be unveiled in 2006, so why put it up now! Its/. material but its definitely not news worthy.
Google was formed when two college kids decided to set up a new-form of search engine with page rank algorithm on their school computers, linux was form in a kid's computer and now this website. Find any similarities?!
"Initially thought to be rocks or ice blocks, they are more pebble-sized. The two rock-like objects just below the middle of the image are about 15 centimeters (about 6 inches) (left) and 4 centimeters (about 1.5 inches) (center) across respectively, at a distance of about 85 centimeters (about 33 inches) from Huygens. The surface is darker than originally expected, consisting of a mixture of water and hydrocarbon ice. There is also evidence of erosion at the base of these objects, indicating possible fluvial activity."
Firefox is version 1 while IE is version 6, they are 5 versions apart (in IE's terms though;)). So given the time IE had for development, FF would go places.
You mean like we had privacy previously. First its the secret service like FBI that scans our mails, then its the mail server for finding spam or providing ads (Gmail anyone) and finally its our own ISP. Where does the question of privacy come in?!

And I thought people only used Google for their search purposes.
Quotting "if they don't take 'reasonable care' to prevent their software from being used to commit crime."

I have the photos at my blog too.
I guess mirrordot will make the real website as its mirror (since there is nothing original at mirrordot) ;=).

And that's why affilate programs are lot better for the companies than stuff like Google AdSense...
Won't the cells eventually die?!
Here are my reaction to a new version of different browsers:
...And the crap continues...
FF: Let's rock...
Netscape: Ya, Ok I can see.
IE:
So tell me when there is a new release of FF.

From their website:
/. ?!
"The A380, which will seat 555 passengers in a typical three-class interior layout, will enter airline service in 2006."
Any particular reason for putting this up on
And the sat phone become their God...
Does people who work on with Linux really play Doom and other games?! I have my doubts...
Well apparently Google then was still in their college dorm computers.

Its a trap to woo them away from open source and then dump them at convinence.
