A cool use of this might be broadcast. Everyone at a concert could receive a HD stream showing an alternate view. (I see there is currently a 10 m limit)
Google is getting into too many areas for me liking. Maybe they aren't a monopoly but they certainly are leveraging their Android users into movie-renters, etc. Perhaps G+ will take over social networking. Its too much power for one company. I don't like it.
I would like to have a different name for each circle. For my music friends I am Guitar Smasher and for my business colleagues my real name, etc. That with be a real win over Facebook.
putty makes the world work. I spend 90% of my day in putty... ssh-ed from a Windows box to various Linux boxes. It has never crashed. I also love the download page where you can grab just the.exe by http or ftp. If only everything else could be so perfect and simple.
PV and wind are not constant. So we should never use it? Tide, wave even infrared go all the time. For storage there are water reservoirs, flywheels, etc.
The project isn't sensible. 1. A good thing about solar is that it can be decentralized. This isn't. 2. Transmission loss 3. Terrorist target 4. Have to deal with the whim/blackmail of foreign gov'ts. 5. Not necessary. We can make solar at home.
Thank you for saying that. It seems to be that displaying an HTML file isn't much different that displaying a PDF file. At high level the program reads the description (eg this font size, put the text here, etc) and hands it off to some renderer.
The name "Dragon" sounds a bit ... Chinese. Our biggest rival. I don't think they'd call their spaceship "Eagle".
Hopefully they'd design several new "standard" plugs too.
haha, Actually for stuff like this:

I need a few hundred gigs of disk space on a laptop. That'll still require a harddrive. Does that mean I can't use an Ultrabook ?
Wonder what's happening with those layoff RIM employees?
The People of Pakistan probably don't like the drones overhead either. Especially when they rain down death.
So a house doing this would need some kind of automatic backflow value. Doesn't seem impossible to me.

Maybe there are some billionaires out there who want to throw a few bucks at this? BillG, RichardB?

Wow took a lot of looking around!
You don't need a dataplan. Buy an unlocked smartphone and drop on your exiting SIM card. Connect with Wifi.

I hope it works. It looks like it will start rusting the second its submerged.

When GMail started there was an outcry about it.
I agree. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
.. have won.
Last I tried sending a file via XMPP it still (after what 10 years) failed.
That would be a nice thing to work out first.
Exactly. Its not going to happen. *Perhaps* it is "better". But lets all agree that we should work on second best... whatever that is.

Perhaps not officially... but its new.
There are going to be bugs.

Sparkleshare requires Mono which seems like an unfortunate decision.
