    You don't need a dataplan. Buy an unlocked smartphone and drop on your exiting SIM card. Connect with Wifi.

    Google is getting into too many areas for me liking. Maybe they aren't a monopoly but they certainly are leveraging their Android users into movie-renters, etc.
    Perhaps G+ will take over social networking. Its too much power for one company.
    I don't like it.

    putty makes the world work. I spend 90% of my day in putty... ssh-ed from a Windows box to various Linux boxes. It has never crashed.
    I also love the download page where you can grab just the .exe by http or ftp. If only everything else could be so perfect and simple.

    PV and wind are not constant. So we should never use it?
    Tide, wave even infrared go all the time.
    For storage there are water reservoirs, flywheels, etc.

    The project isn't sensible.
    1. A good thing about solar is that it can be decentralized. This isn't.
    2. Transmission loss
    3. Terrorist target
    4. Have to deal with the whim/blackmail of foreign gov'ts.
    5. Not necessary. We can make solar at home.

    Thank you for saying that. It seems to be that displaying an HTML file isn't much different that displaying a PDF file. At high level the program reads the description (eg this font size, put the text here, etc) and hands it off to some renderer.

    Sparkleshare requires Mono which seems like an unfortunate decision.
