Everytime there's a power outage in my house, my Gateway
Well, there's your problem right there! Buy yourself a new computer and quit bothering us.
Heh. I used to own a Gateway way back when. For some reason, I kept having issues with DSP errors and the modem. Every time I would get one of these mysterious errors, I'd have to reload the system and replace the modem. Thank all of this was covered under warranty. I eventually took the possessed computer to a Gateway store several miles from my house. They reloaded my system, replaced the modem, and told me all my problems were solved. After 5 times of this, they decided to replace the motherboard. Fortunately for me, they couldn't find one to fit my case, and ended up replacing the entire computer with something twice as fast. Although, the computer they gave me is about 8 years old now and runs like a champ, I wasn't real pleased with their ability to diagnose problems and fix them. They never figured out what my issue really was. I guess I just got lucky with the second one. Now, I build my on Winders boxes and buy Macs.
Why oh why didn't they just use Glow Sticks? Here is a nice article on how they work. Crack them, cut them open, and dump into some sort of clear plastic tubing and seal. From what I understand, Glow Sticks are nontoxic and come in nifty colors! I guess the force just isn't that strong with them.:)
I work in a fairly common music retail chain. You'd be surprised just how many random people call us, sing horribly into the phone, and ask us to identify the song/artist/album, and then want the sheet music for said song. It's always totally amusing. I kinda hope this whole service doesn't catch on widely. I'll miss the entertainment!
To me it was an instance of God stepping in and saying this little boy has a lot more to live for, let's give him another chance.
First off, let me state that I mean absolutly *NO* offense to you whatsoever. I am extremly happy that your son is alive and back to normal! Just a different view.
A girl that I know had a serious car accient about a year ago. She was driving the car, and 3 other girls were with her. They were struck by a drunk driver. All died, but her. Since then she has turned her life to God, because she feels that God wanted her to live, and that he stepped in and saved her life, like she was some chosen individual. I think it is arrogant of ANYBODY to say that God favors one person over another. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't God supposed to be fair, just, and nonjudgemental? If that being so, how can you justify your son's recovery simply as an act of God, or the recovery of anybody from serious injury/illness?

I wasn't aware that there was any difference in the value of genuine software versus pirated software to the consumer. The price paid or not paid, has nothing to do with the value of the software. It still is valued at 199 smackaroos for XP Home edition.
Yes, you can stop panicking. I went to see the movie last night, and have read all the books. The book was much better than the movie, but IMHO they didn't do a bad job of adapting it to the big screen. I read the reviews and reactions of others before going to see it and found myself wondering what kind of crack they are smoking. It's great! It will definitly make it to my DVD collection as soon as it hits the shelves.
Thank you so much! I would kiss the ground you walked upon if I could. I've been struggling with the tiny font size in GAIM since I started using it. You, my friend, are my hero! May the Mod-Gods rain points upon your head.

And they could give them personalities like Marvin!
What... you mean The Hitchhikers Guide isn't the word of God? Damn... after all these years...
