Mozilla/Firefox market share Almost competitive with IE

Although, I'm guessing everyone wishes the market share situation was favorable to Mozilla. Who knows, this actually might be a headline in the not-to-distant future.

I assume Hawaii has plenty of geothermal energy. But, I'm guessing you meant the contiguous states.

My father used to build geothermal plants when he was in Saudi Arabia, so I'm guessing the Middle East might have more geothermal activity than the United States.

  3. Too much space on Green Energy Almost Cost-Competitive with Fossil Fuels · · Score: 1, Interesting
Wind farms take up way too much space, which could be used for more profitable ventures such as housing. Until wind can provide a better output-to-area-required ratio, I don't see wind power replacing fossil fuels soon.

Hopefully fusion research makes another break through.

Yeah, maybe, have the body on screen, and allow another surgeon to "draw" a dotted line to cut on?

Well, I'll be content if I get a Nintendo DS. Pictochat will suit me just fine.

Hmmm, maybe if they didn't layoff people we wouldn't have this problem :P

Well AOL Time Warner, that's 2 strikes. One more and you're out.

Hmm... Sure Nintendo competitors have a history of failing, but this is Sony we're talking about. It beat Nintendo at game console sales with the Playstation, and it's got a pretty good chance of doing well with the PSP.

But can Sony pick up the pace in manufacturing? I vaguely remember when Playstation (1 or 2, I forgot which) came out, there was a memory card shortage which caused a bit of a stir. The PSP already is late (usually, the Sony console comes out first), can it still grab as much market share as it should have?

I remember seeing something for 1 mile Wi-Fi on /. , maybe the DS can be hacked to have 1 mile Wi-Fi as well?

But then again, wouldn't that increase battery consumption? Not to mention the huge antennae...

  10. Yay, competition on AOL Making Media Player, Music Store · · Score: 0

Hopefully this will cause a drop in prices. Hmm, but on second thought, most AOL products aren't that good, so it won't be able to compete. Doh!
