Well I am no RF engineer, but I suppose the wire will act as an antennae and re-radiate the EM energy it is exposed to (current is induced on it and that in turn creates an EM wave). Depending on the shape of the wire this re-radiated energy will be focused more in certain directions (gain). If this happens to be towards your head you could be par-boiling yourself.
Of course this only makes the situation worse for you if the incoming energy is highly focused on a specific spot on your melon, which I think is unlikely.

Yes but there has never been as much C02 in the atmosphere as there is now (and growing exponentially). What worries most people who care about quality of life on this planet for the forseeable future is that THIS climate change is almost certainly due to human influence.
