In this case, the only hiding place left is the first layer of the OSI model. I can't believe no one thinks of that. When you find the final receiving/originating server go to the physical location and either investigate log ins from there or find the culprit sitting on his ass. Recidivism is a concern, so old fashioned arrest is out of the question, especially if it's a foreign country. 3 letter agencies just eat more tax dollars, which leaves us with hoodlums to disappear, the problem/black hat. Hoodlums drive their business, so hoodlums can close their business. It would just be a "move", "business". How much would a person or group or business entity be willing to pay to delete black hats? There would be overhead costs of course, hiring a "white hat" to do the digital work and travel expenses for the physical business meeting.

It may not totally eliminate the problem, but I'm betting it could drop activity a good 90% once a few disappear and word starts going around. Leave the hoodlum work to hoodlums and quit relying on some money gobbling geek corporation or government clowns to do the job right and actually get it done. It's a first layer problem.

  2. This brings the question of the legality of selling others information. Say perhaps you come across some proprietary information or company business or even personal information of Google or anyone else for that matter. When I was a collector for an entity that provided short term, high interest loans we used to call that insuran...er.. extortion, of course this only lacks the extra "incentives" . The better the information, the higher the price. The concept kinda tickles me. It wouldn't be possible to loan Apple any money, but could you imagine offering NOT to sell information/ conceptual hardware(that you found in a bar) for a price and have it be LEGAL? Hey, what's good for the corporation is good for the people. I like a level playing field.

If you are really entertained by tossing away random amounts of money as an "entertaining habit" go give it to the guy with the "will work for food " sign at the off ramp. You can feel good about helping someone unfortunate and he can get as much alcohol/meth as his body can tolerate. Six of one, half a dozen of the other, help the state or help a derelict.

Decisions betray the belief that in spite of astronomical odds the ticket will be the one to send them to retirement and riches, every day/ week, for months, years, decades. It is a self imposed tax for irrational belief, sponsored by the state who profits. Ergo, it is an idiot tax. Affordability only enhances misjudgment of reward for a a more lurid picture. I'm not against the lottery either, it offsets the tax burden for those smart enough not to participate.

Doctors practice in spite of knowing their limitations, ignorance and lack of a solution. Pride, money, megalomania will drive one to play the odds for a cure even if it kills or maims the patient. Knowing that insurance , lawyers and pharmaceutical companies stand behind them emboldens them.
Sometimes doctors kill outright, the old man whose lungs keep filling with no strength to keep fighting, the anorexic whose electrolytes are so low she suffers a heart attack , is revived and has another and another and another until there is just no point. They just leave them in a room in a far wing to "let them rest". Sometimes the doctor is a researcher, paid for specific results by their benefactor who has more care for HIS product that will save the world and blah blah blah. Either innocent or corrupt, doctors do indeed kill.

I only explain myself, I'm not debating my beliefs.

Others realize police are easily corruptible while the dronesong hums the virtues of heroes, some know the media to be mostly propaganda and crap for political or corporate interests, others were told it was the information to guide their decisions by, day to day and you know what? They're happy with that.

I find that most peoples lives are so busy and complex that they just don't have the will or strength to see anything bad about the world around them, let alone adjust their lives to it. Perfectly willing to drag everyone down with them as well, by not facing the problems and responding accordingly. Drones.

On the other hand, they are perfectly willing to let go of their assets, like the ability to carry a weapon and protect oneself and those around them in a world where the protection of donut eaters is 10 minutes away at the very best. " They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety". --Benjamin Franklin
So, if I alienate these drones, my life is enriched. This isn't a popularity contest, this is separating the wheat from the chaff, losing excess fat, calling black; black and white; white. If it turns that drones are a majority, then the pessimists were right, if it turns the educated are a majority, the optimists were right.
Cutting that which doesn't work out of your life only enriches it.

Gosh I'm sorry if I insulted any drones out there, but that's o.k, they'll just keep grazing till loaded on the truck.

Straws are drawn again for position and the pit crews start attaching a chain from the engine car to those behind them. The flag drops and the cars roar off like a big choo choo train. The accident happened because a weak link in the chain broke causing a sudden loss of torque and surprising the driver who was busy texting a pit bunny . This caused the crash and a delay of race as the pit crew rushed to bolt the chain back together and finish the race. Fans are encouraged to send donations to NASCAR Chain to keep this proud U.S. tradition advertising the finest makers of autos and auto accessories, t-shirts, toys and beer.

Think of how many union wages you've paid for a chain from raw materials, shipping, inspecting, approving, receiving, facilitating, assembly, packaging, shipping, receiving, stocking, and even bagging your purchase. Paying twice as many wages for your purchase, because the overhead gets passed on to the consumer, not the stockholder, not the owner. Not bad for a guy w the same S.S., state and federal taxes withheld, just like everyone. Of course now the union jobs are disappearing, people have left the city and those that haven't clamber for what's left that doesn't rely on the aircraft industry. Unfortunately having "aircraft" on your resume is death for finding other jobs locally.
