I still don't buy it, they were quick to say DISC BASED games would be just like on the X360, but isn't the Xbox S (for Stupid God damned name) suppose to install ALL games to the HDD by default? Unless they completely changed the mechanism, which at this late stage would be kinda doubtful, they may just be playing a game of weasel words.
You still have to have an Internet setup just to unbox the thing (so much for our men and women in the armed forces) and until I see the thing in stores actually doing what they say it'll do? Sorry MSFT, don't trust you, especially not after the head of the Xbox division said "just deal with it" and "buy a 360" as his answers to critics. BTW did they fire that jackhole?
That is why I never understood the hatred for this or that language, i have seen some solid as hell programs in just about any language and I have seen absolute dogshit, again in just about every language.
You can hand a scalpel to a skilled surgeon and he can save your life, you hand that same tool to an enraged chimp you are gonna get nothing but a mess. At the end of the day a tool will only be as good as its user, and a bad coder will make bad code i don't care what language they choose. While some here may argue that this or that language has more safeguards all that is doing is trying to idiot proof the language and as we have seen time and time again the world can always come up with a bigger idiot.
Because just like the mob to instill fear you have to make an "example" out of those that defy you and that is EXACTLY what the US gov intends to do.
And lets get this out of the way, anybody that says its about rape? BULLSHIT, first of all not only did both girls recant and change their stories multiple times (one even went out and bought him breakfast AFTER he had supposedly "raped" her and then woke him up to breakfast in bed before having sex with him a second time...does that sound like rape to you?) but the diplomats made it 100% CLEAR that they would be more than happy to hand him over, ALL Sweden had to do was sign a little piece of paper that said that this was about the rape charges and that it wasn't about handing him to the USA, guess what? they refused and the reason why is fucking obvious, because his ass would have never even made it to Sweden, they would have diverted the plane and he would have been sent straight to gitmo and it would have made Swedish politicians look like the liars that they are.
Hell show me a SINGLE CASE, just one, where the UK government has spent anywhere CLOSE to what they have trying to get Assange going after a single guy, and you are REALLY gonna try to sell me that this is over a rape charge in another country? REALLY? I'm sorry but there is bullshit and then there is unbelievable bullshit, this falls squarely in the latter. If it takes 40 years the USA will happily make the Brits blow billions if that is what it takes to make an example out of Assange and the British citizens need to be screaming bloody murder over their tax dollars being pissed away like that. If the USA wants him so bad let them man the fuck up and pay the bill!
So in other words a half assed "solution" that is in every way WORSE than what we have while giving the big wigs more control, since you can't run native apps without them being "blessed" by corporate through the appstore.
NOW do you see why I say we need to keep flash until an actual REPLACEMENT and not some half assed 'solution" comes along? It uses less resources, has more features, and is run by a company that doesn't sue at the drop of a hat and in fact didn't even say boo when Gnash came out.
The ONLY reason we are seeing this push for the death of flash is St Steve who didn't want anybody to be able to run apps without going through his appstore. After all if he simply didn't like the adobe version he could have just as easily backed gnash just as he did with CUPS and KHTML/Webkit, but then you would have been able to run apps without St Steve giving his blessing (and getting his cut) and that simply couldn't be allowed.
The only thing that amazes me is how many bought into his bullshit when this is the same guy that rammed through H.264 into HTML V5 over Open Source friendly choices like Theora, Drac, or WebM, and who stated he was willing to spend his entire fortune to bury android at any cost. Hell read the emails from the Apple price fixing case, St Steve was a greedy douchebag that made Ballmer look like a sweaty Care Bear by comparison yet so many took his every word as gospel, its just amazing how well his RDF worked.
And you left out the best part which is you can get double, sometimes triple the performance for the same price!
I mean just look at the prices, you can get an Athlon triple that I am seeing better than 70% unlock rates with for just $60, if you don't want to bother with unlocking (or don't have a board that supports it) for just $75 you can have the Phenom II quad and if you want an unlocked 6 core its just $99 for the FX6100 and the chip I currently use (which I fricking love BTW, great chip), which is not only fast but if you are into OCing has some serious headroom is just $106! What do you get in the same price range from Intel? Either the crippled Pentium dual or for $99 you can get the OEM i3, also only a dual core.
So the difference in bang for the buck is pretty huge, we are talking double or even triple the cores which once you start multitasking you can feel the difference pretty damned quickly. I have sat with my 1035T and played a game like Torchlight II MP while I burned a DVD and I transcoded a video and thanks to having 6 cores there was nary a slowdown in my game. As a bonus the cheaper prices means you can not only spend what you save on a better GPU or more memory to have an overall faster system but you can have a nicer board MUCH cheaper than with Intel, I got a board that has crossfire support and holds up to 16GB of RAM (I could have had one that supported 32GB but I wanted to use the memory i already had and figured 32GB was overkill) with all the bells and whistles for just $55!
Anybody who says "AMD doesn't have the bang for the buck" simply hasn't bothered to look because for the same price as a Pentium dual system you can have a quad or hexacore that will run rings around the dual, gives you plenty of upgrade options down the road and will save you money to boot. Since the compiler and bribery scandals I've been building and selling AMD units exclusively and I can say that NOTHING Intel sells in the same price range even comes close, hell you can get a 6 core kit for $270 or the dual core APU kit for $170, just crazy cheap prices.
Sorry but I'm throwing a flag, bullshit on the field. you are using the classic "It is ONLY bad if (X) does it" which time and time again has been shown to be bullshit, either you are for something or you are not PERIOD.
After all by your logic as long as a single dial up ISP is willing to run a certain kind of speech it would be 100% okay if all the other ISPs blocked it because "There is no problem with a single newspaper refusing to carry something, as long as there are other newspapers that are willing to run it " so as long as ONE is willing to run it then that is okay.
The fact that you managed to get marked insightful just shows how few really think here because you know what that attitude gets you? Free speech zones. after all you can still speak freely so what is the problem? The problem is you make damned sure they can ONLY speak far enough away they will be marginalized and ignored, that is what. You are also ignoring the second half of my post, which is what you get when you start doing this and that is HuffPo and Drudge circlejerks where all that is left is people that agree with you no matter what.
You go to a site that doesn't reinforce this groupthink mentality? Its like night and day. here if I point out that a certain driver model doesn't work and isn't used by anybody else I will instantly get swarmed by the groupthink who will bury me STRICTLY because of Dogma, when you ask them to name even one actual thought out reason why they support X model over Y model? they can't do it, its "X says it is bad so it must be bad". whereas i have gone to other sites with a similar article and posted the same position, what did I get? A nearly 2 page discussion on the various merits and weaknesses of different model designs!
As we have seen time after time troll ends up being "I don't like your position so it MUST be bad" which is a cancer that just kills discussion, only groupthink is allowed. So even if you support his right to censor (again hypocrite that it is, because it is "X is bad if THEY do it but not if WE do it") that doesn't change the fact it has the intended consequence of "weeding out" all that don't think like the mod until the whole place becomes nothing but fawning sycophants. Again all you have to do is look right here, certain positions are simply not allowed because they go against the groupthink and no matter how well reasoned or researched your position is it WILL be crushed by the yes men.
So I would say a hypocrite is a hypocrite, it would be like saying he is for government aid to the poor while hiding all his money in the caymans, he talks the talk but he sure as fuck don't walk the walk and he rightly deserves to be called out for that.
I'll be happy to tell ya what I mean by "Lip service". You ever hear the phrase "fool me once"? well old Monty has sold the DB out from under the community ONCE ALREADY and just because he was able to find a sucker the first time that didn't make him sign a do not compete does NOT mean it will be the same next time. Old Monty made a mint off the backs of the guys that worked on MySQL precisely BECAUSE it was FOSS, and you are gonna trust him a second time?
It is THIS, this right here, that causes me to label FOSS zealots as "FOSSies" and compare them to religious zealots because as long as you say the magic words they WILL NOT THINK, they will just rally around the flag. You want the M in LAMP? Then do the SMART thing, set up a non profit like the foundation that does Libre Office so that NOBODY can sell the code out from under you and do it THAT way. If you willingly sign your code over to old Monty after he has already screwed over the community once already? Then I'm sorry, you're an idiot that deserves whatever you get.
Yeah pretty much, and just like AMD/ATI you'd have the ability to have it all on a single chip to cut down on the power usage which if you look at the specs the Via chips are pretty low power while having decent performance to begin with.
If you've never had a Via CPU you should check 'em out, they make a ton of Pic-ITX boards that are used in carputers but are great for other jobs like routers, NAS with support for crypto (thanks to baked in AES support), firewalls, pretty much any place you need a reliable low power machine with better than atom performance or crypto is required the Via chips can be a good fit. Keep an eye out and you can often get them sub $150 and the things are rugged as hell and can be passively cooled very easily, great if you need a system that can be just dumped in a closet somewhere.
As you can see you can get one in a mini-case with wifi for less than $150 that would be perfect for a lot of uses and that was just the first link I found, you could probably get it even cheaper if you did a little shopping around.
Well according to the wiki the Via nano is 64 bit and since all X86 64 bit support is based on AMD64 then it stands to reason that they have permission from AMD to use 64bit instructions. I also don't see how Intel could say shit since the way Centaur came up with their chips were NOT by copying the Intel design, as was originally the case with AMD who was a second source for early X86 chips, but by reverse engineering the Intel chips. In fact I remember this was an issue with the early C3 chips in that there reverse engineering didn't perfectly copy the Intel way of doing things so there was some corner cases where software that would work on an Intel or AMD wouldn't run on a Centaur.
But frankly Nvidia would only need the Nano, no reason to even bother with 32bit in this day and age except for a little backwards compatibility which with Android and ChromeOS is less of a problem. If you look at the specs i linked to or check out some benchmarks it would be a perfect fit for Nvidia, has performance like an Athlon but uses power more like a Bobcat, is 64bit, they have everything from singles to quads, and the baked in crypto would be a selling point in the server space.
I'm telling ya if you added a tegra on chip so it had the nicer GPU (they use the older Via Chrome GPU) along with the ARM cores so they could switch between ARM and X86 or even use both if required? You'd have a pretty sweet chip. You could even add a hardware assisted Virtualbox or WINE so that folks could have those one or two "must have" Windows programs while still having ARM mobility, as I said it would be truly innovative and I can see multiple places where that would be an easy sell.
Dude if you want hardware crypto pick up one of the Via micro boards, they are less than $200 (sometimes less than $100 if you catch a sale) and have AES support baked in. I have used a couple for low power servers and they are awesome if you have to have encryption, crazy low power usage and thanks to the baked in crypto support I'd say it performs a little better than an Athlon of the same speed while using power more like a Bobcat. Oh and thanks to the fact they are often used in carputers you can get them in heatsink cases that are great for a router or a NAS using an external drive/s.
So check 'em out, I'm all for using the best tool for the job and for those that need decent crypto support while not cranking up the power and heat? they fit the bill VERY nicely.
While I would normally agree with you...dude we are talking about an Acer here, you ever seen how little polishing their heatsinks get? Trust me the amount of imperfections in one of their heatsinks you can easily get a nice thin layer of silver in the cracks. Plus its easy to tell when you have a heatsink that pretreat will help, it only takes a drop and an old CC and when you wipe it off if the heatsink has changed to a dull grey? Its got silver in the cracks.
And my little stalker troll can mod it down all he wants, if someone asks a legitimate question or posts a legitimate counter argument to which I have an answer? i'm gonna respond. he said the AMD V120 was slower than an Atom, I posted hard data showing that not only is it not slower the 4225 GPU it has is significantly better than what comes with any Atom netbook. I also pointed out that the Acer Aspire is pretty well known for having heat issues as well as how to solve them.
Finally as for the "errata" he linked to? One noob programmer with a variant of BSD has an issue with one version of GCC...which frankly he shouldn't be using in the first place as AMD has their own 100% free (in every sense) version of GCC that will optimize for their chips so using stock GCC is only slowing down his performance...yeah its a noob and I really wouldn't put too much stock in his not being able to compile correctly, he is probably "doin it wrong".
I'm sorry but according to Notebook check the chip you have is faster than the Atom it was originally made to compete against and has a faster CPU to boot. Before you take too much stock into what a particular benchmark says you might want to look up "Intel cripple compiler" to see how badly rigged anything compiled with the Intel compiler comes out, in one test they took a Via CPU and simply by changing the CPUID from "Centaur Hauls" to "Genuine Intel" they scored a full 30% HIGHER on the benchmark! Wow, amazing huh?
As for your specific situation I can tell you what the problem is AND how to fix it, the problem is...you bought an Acer. Sorry but Acer is pretty notorious for skimping in every way they can if you will look up "replace thermal paste" and that model you will find many Youtube videos showing you how to remove the shitty thermal pad they used and replacing it with something that works. I would suggest Arctic Silver, first pre-treat both the CPU and the heatsink to get the paste into the tiny imperfections, followed by putting a grain of rice sized drop on the CPU and reseating the heatsink. I have had to do that trick a few times on acers that end up in my shop because of "being slow" and you'd be amazed how much having an actual functional heatsink helps.
As for Intel getting busted...citation please? The only thing I heard of was a payoff to AMD to get them out of court, that is NOT "getting busted", that is bribery. and you name the Intel CPU and I can produce a nice long errata sheet for it as well, i don't think there has been a CPU since the 286 that didn't end up with a long errata list. I also frankly don't put much stock in an "errata" that is only being seen by some guy running an EXTREMELY niche OS and then ONLY when he compiles with a certain version of GCC. AMD offers their own compiler, based on GCC as a matter of fact, so why this dude doesn't use that? who the fuck knows.
Meanwhile I've sold hundreds of AMD units, both desktop and laptop, no complaints about speed. I was impressed enough that my entire family is on AMD, 5 desktops a laptop and I too have a netbook but unlike you I went with the better build quality Asus EEE and am VERY pleased by the performance, in fact after 3 years I still get over 4 hours on a battery watching movies, 5 websurfing, and I can slap an HDMI cable between my netbook and any TV and use it as an HTPC which I have done on several occasions, works great.
Thanks but it just irks me how so few of the so called "GPL advocates" actually understand jack shit when it comes to licenses.
Take old Monty, he has set up MariaDB to be EXACTLY the same as MySQL license wise, he STILL owns ALL contributions so he could just as easily sell it out from under the community just as he did with MySQL but as long as he pays lip service to the GPL? Then you will have a ton of guys here sing his praises.
And look at how few understand even how the GPL works, acting like this means they can "take teh codez away from us ZOMFG!" when IRL they can't do jack shit about the previous code that was released under GPL, the ONLY thing they can do is refuse to release FUTURE releases under GPL. You can take the last GPL version and do as you wish, modify it, fork it, hell build a business around it like old Monty did, nothing they can do or say to stop you.
Bingo, we have a winnar! This is just another case of a large corp fucking an audience that probably has NO say or choice in the matter (from what I've seen unless you live on the coasts you get one ISP with a useful speed and the other crap, in mine its 8-20Mbps for cable and 3Mbps for DSL) because God fucking forbid they actually provide what they were fricking PAID FOR by those customers instead of trying to fuck them for every cent they can squeeze!
What will happen is the vast majority, which don't read tech sites and most likely will never hear a word of this from their corporate kissing local MSM, will try to use netflix only to get a stuttering mess. They will say "Oh Netflix sucks" because they won't have any way of knowing its their ISP that is MAKING it suck so they will have to use the alternative...which is owned by Verizon who will make that much more money off all those people that have to use Redbox instead of the service they originally wanted to.
This is why we frankly shouldn't allow any company that owns ISPs to own content as they will always end up tilting things in favor of their content. Of course with our government being such corporate whores that every politician gets a free set of kneepads i doubt shit will be done, but that is why our prices put us in the top 5 but the quality and speed puts us behind countries like Romania.
WTF are you babbling about? the biggest complaint about winRT is the fact it can't run Windows programs and this would solve that problem. or if you don't like Windows? Fine imagine an Ubuntu tablet that could run windows programs via WINE when plugged in and seamlessly switch to Ubuntu for ARM when you pulled it from the keyboard cradle, thus giving you ARM battery life...who wouldn't want that? Its a hell of a lot better than having to use those shitty cellphone "app" crap!
Which is why I sell AMD exclusively, because I hate insider douchebaggery and Intel is king of the douchebags. And ya know what? I have yet to hear a single complaint that their system is too slow, not one. And I put my money where my mouth is, I have an AMD hexacore that just chews through games and transcoding (and does so at the same time if I want) and cost me at $105 shipped less than a Pentium Dual. So unless a person is in one of those rare fields where they need every possible cycle they can squeeze out of a machine they really are just pissing money away. And as a bonus the money I saved let me get a nicer gaming board, twice the memory i would have gotten otherwise, and plenty of upgrade options down the road if I want to go even faster or get the octo-core.
But that still don't explain why in the fuck Intel don't get busted, after all Apple and Linux were around when the DoJ busted MSFT's ass and if anything Intel has a tighter lock on the market than MSFT ever did. so I want to know who is cashing the checks, who is getting paid off, as i smell some dirty dealing which as we saw with the kickback scandal is SOP for Intel.
Noooo. because as the other poster pointed out that just makes him a hypocrite because censorship is just fine as long as HE is the one doing the censoring. ironically this is the EXACT same thought process that happens with those that censor in government, as they are 100% sure that they know what is right and what is wrong and you are just too blind to see that.
The fact that he uses "trolls" as an excuse which we have seen here that word really means "I don't agree with you so you must be bad" just shows how big of a hypocrite we are talking about as I have seen people labeled a troll for every fucking position on the planet? Oh you are a libertarian? liberal? republican? bullshit you are just a fucking troll because you don't kiss my ass and agree with everything i say like a drooling sycophant!
You know what you get when you get rid of everyone that disagrees with you? shit like HuffPo and Drudge where no matter how wrong or shitty a politician acts they will line up to kiss the ring and justify any abuses as long as the right letter follows the name and you are nothing but a fucking troll if you don't support OUR side in this! you get giant groupthink circlejerks that devolve to the point it becomes fucking parody, it becomes "Oh gee whiz, isn't (insert X) swell? Why it sure is, you'd have to be a fucking retard not to support (insert X) and see its the right thing to do!"
So I'm sorry but you can't scream about censorship while you are censoring those that disagree with you without being a giant fricking hypocrite and that is what we have here. How much you wanna bet you go to his comments section and its yes men central, with groupthink thicker than the stench of a porta potty in august?
No shit, just go to a site like HuffPo and see how many of them will, cheer and make excuses no matter how jackbooted Obama gets because "he is OUR guy". Its fucking ballclub mentality and frankly is what is killing this country.
As for his bit about "censoring trolls"? I have found faaaar too often the word troll means "I do not agree with you". Its the same as shill which means "You like something I don't like". in both cases its total bullshit, and it works to promote groupthink which is great if all you want is a room full of yes men, again go to something like Fox or HuffPo to see a group that trips all over each other to agree.
Which is why I'm still scratching my head as to why when they did see how the wind was blowing they just didn't buy out Via. anybody see the benches for the nano duals? They weren't bad at all, and had several advantages that were just made for certain markets, like having baked in hardware crypto support, so WTF Nvidia?
Its not like you couldn't afford to buy a little pipsqueak like Via, you could then use your ARM cores to build some fucking awesome hybrids. Imagine laptops and tablets that could run full windows and Linux when plugged into the wall but when on battery you would switch into "uber battery" mode and get ARM battery life with none of the downsides...who wouldn't want to buy that? I want one of those, a tablet that gets all day battery but when I have some Windows program i need to run just plug in the main and there ya go, that would be fricking sweet and really innovative.
So I just don't get it, it seems like a perfect fit. Like AMD with ATI you have X86 cores that are "good enough" with killer graphics, if they would have done this when AMD bought ATI they could have had at least one of the new consoles running something like the Nvidia nano quad instead of being shut out.
Oh well, I'll just have to stick with AMD and hope the Apple chip dev comes out with something to replace bullsucker as the Am3+ chips ain't gonna last forever. Its a damned shame though as I bet Nvidia Tegra Nano would have been sweet.
They can waste their mod points all they want they can't show me a SINGLE CASE, not one, where the GPL foundation was able to keep a company from changing the license to their own products. And I never said anything about retroactive, which is why I said you can fork the last GPL version and they can't do shit because if you tried to retroactively change a license you would be laughed out of court.
Kinda fucking sad that only the proprietary guy has actually read the fricking GPL, but show me anywhere where the FSF can control FUTURE licenses because its NOT IN THERE. all the GPL does is makes sure that particular release that was done under GPL then STAYS under GPL, they can change the license at any. time.they.want. and it does not matter because the version that is ALREADY GPL STAYS GPL, which was the whole fucking point, that you wouldn't come to depend on a piece of FOSS and have them pull the rug out from under you by pulling a switch.
But that does NOT give you the right to everything a company makes from that moment on, or even every single version of a particular software that they make because it is THEIR PROPERTY and if they want to make it GPL,MPL, if they want to say you have to do a fricking rain dance to get a copy of the latest version? they can do that. what they CAN'T DO is take what was already GPL and wave a magic wand and make it proprietary, it just does not work that way and no case law that I'm aware of lets a company change a license retroactively from whenever they feel like it. If the court allowed that then there wouldn't be any licenses, because you could never know if the deal you made today would be upheld tomorrow.
So its nothing to get your panties in a twist over guys, you can decide to be a dumbass and trust old Monty again (seriously guys look at the MariaDB license again, old Monty has it set up so all the code belongs to him, no reason he can't sell it out from under you again) or you can go to one of the other SQL variants or hell, if you want you and some other devs can take the last GPL version of MySQL and fork it and make something better. Make it belong to the actual community so it can't be sold and get behind that like you did with Libre office, why not do that? But this is a tempest in a teapot, who cares, you have options galore.
Actual translation "Intel fucked us in the ass more than AMD that at least got a billion plus for their ass reaming, all we got was the curb. Now we are just gonna have to become patent trolls because with AMD owning ATI and Intel going their own way we missed the boat...damn we should have bought Via".
What I want to know is...what in the hell does intel have on the DoJ to keep getting away with this shit? You had all the major OEMs saying they were taking kickbacks all through the P4 period, you have them shutting out Nvidia in the chipset market, which if that isn't classic antitrust I don't know WTF is, how do they keep getting away with this shit? Frankly what Intel has been doing has been worse than what got MSFT's balls in a sling (which I still think they should have split up MSFT) yet they seem to always walk away scott free, WTF?
Oh and for Nvidia fans...sorry but I could have told ya so. AMD saw how much these super insane-o monster chips were costing to make so they did the VERY smart move of developing the midrange chips and then simply adding a second chip for the high range, Nvidia kept the old way of building the uber-baddass chip and then figuring out how to cut it down, but doing it that way equals crazy hot chips that take them awhile to figure out how to selectively cripple their chips without totally trashing it whereas since AMD aims for the much more lucrative midrange market its easier for them to cover the spectrum of prices without breaking the bank.
In what way? The owner of a software doesn't have to make every release of that software GPL, all the GPL does is make sure that releases under the GPL remain GPL so if you wanted to keep the old version, fork it, hand it out on CDs, whatever you want as long as you provide source there is nothing they can do about it.
The way you are describing it makes it sound like the GPL truly is viral, not really the impression you want to give I'm sure.
Hell even forget what they WANT, just look at what they HAVE NOW already! I mean look at the map I posted, you are talking about just a hair under TWO THIRDS of the entire US population that thanks to the border rules that they passed after 9/11 can have their rights stripped away at ANY time for pretty much ANY cause, all because they live within X miles of a border.
My grandfather fought in WWII and Korea and I'm just glad he isn't here now as you could probably power the entire south on the amount of revs that man is doing spinning in his grave. I am proud to say he taught me the value of free speech and the constitution, because despite the nearly 3 years he spent in a full body cast thanks to Nazis he supported the right of the Illinois Nazis to march. He said "That is what makes us better than them, as everyone here has the right to speak", he would be so saddened to see how far we have fallen.
A black guy with his white kid? They won't give a shit, hell I've seen plenty of times when my hair was halfway down my ass and they didn't give me any trouble...as long as there wasn't any blacks in the car.
You see like most of the guys here that are now calling me a liar once upon a time I would have believed as they do, that all that old Mississippi Burning driving while black bullshit was just that, then i spent 5 years being the "reverse oreo" in a black R&B band and i got to see what most white folks don't get to see, and yeah the cops in the south still do by and large, not all, but a hell of a lot of 'em, still hang onto the old hates. and for some reason a black by themselves or a white by themselves? No problem. Put both in the same car? BIG PROBLEM.
It got to the point that Charles handed me the keys to his car and had me and the wives (two of which were white, one black and one Latina) drive together while the rest of the band drove together in the van because in certain areas we were spending more time getting fucked with on the side of the road than we were at the gigs.
As a southern man believe me, this is not something that I care for or am happy to say but I saw what i saw and its really not hard to tell when someone hates your fucking guts and we got that a LOT in the deep south. Race mixing is something some still seem to have a problem with I guess. Also remember this was the late 90s and early 00s, less dash cams made it easier to get away with shit.
And on a less depressing note to end with, everybody remember that scene in 48hrs where Eddie Murphy walks into a hillbilly bar and you could hear a pin drop? That was what I got when we walked into all these all black R&B clubs. I mean picture 4 black guys and 1 big long haired biker. Charles quickly learned how to solve that problem though, he would throw his arm around me and go "What? You folks against affirmative action? This here's our token white boy!" which would always cause the club to bust a gut and there were never any hassles after that.
Okay...WTF does that have to do with the price of tea in China? Multiple people already chimed in that those on the coasts DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM but you are paying for that in assrape prices for food and utilities, worse crime, and generally cramped living conditions. that doesn't change the fact that there is a hell of a lot more to the USA than the seaboards and we're all getting screwed by the duopolies.
