    Sorry but the nut jobs are redefining Christianity right now. What they yell on TV, radio, mega-churchs, and books is what Christianity means right now.

    I used to be Protestant until I discovered that independant thought, love for science, and asking questions is wrong and near immoral. It's getting worse. Eventually, all universities will be theology schools only.

    Push them south? Hell, they own the south and mid-west. We can't treat fundies. We could buy a large amount of land and give it to them as their own nation. Leave them to their own devices and see how far they get with no help from us in any form.

    Spam for politics may actually hurt them more. If candidates use the same methods as the Nigerian gentlemen or BigBlackAss.com, people won't look at them the same. Especially if they're between BigBlackAss.com and BigTits.com.

    I actually would like it if the candidates called me at home and talked to me/asked me about some of the issues. The problem is the people who work for them just trying to get votes call and/or email me.

    I'd like to hear from the candidates too. I'm sick of the lame debates that focus on a few things and the moderated questions from the folks there. I wanted to hear why Bush hasn't bothered to capture Bin Ladin even though they have an idea where he is. Catch the bastard! I don't want him hiding, I want him in a cell or a grave!

    I agree. Why turn down a good paying job over a program?

    I left my last job over ethics. I shouldn't have to go to a church the manager endorses and read the Bible daily just for a work schedule for grad school. Still looking for work.

    Sure, all you have to do is sit with your kids every minute that they are watching TV from the time they're born until their 18th birthday. No problem.

    How about teaching your kids morality, common sense, respect for others and themselves, and teach them that TV isn't real life? How about being a fucking parent instead of a spineless squid?

    I'd take Sun over Microsoft any day. Afterall, Sun supports Unix, Oracle makes software for it, and, from what I heard from a member of a local church, the tech support is great but they rarely call. Yes, a church here uses it for their Web site. Solaris with Apache.

    I tried it on my PC. It couldn't run the GUI installer, just Bourne shell. I was going to get the commands for the install but I found that my nVidia GeForce 2 card isn't fully supported. So I'll stick with Linux till I can afford a SPARC PC with Solaris for my next PC.

    I'm refering to the real D&D: the basic system. AD&D is good but too complex and d20 is like EverCrack on crack.

    There should be 2 types of colleges. One is the knowldge based or traditional college. The other should be the practical or occupational college that helps get you a career. I'd like to see the 2 be 1 but I doubt it. Some colleges are too traditional and doesn't provide occupational education as they should.

    I discovered the same thing. At my high school, college prep courses were for students whose parents made "contributions" to the principle. All others were screwed. I still graduated college though.

    It's to prevent people from using codes that are unused from new PCs. It makes no sense why Windows users have to call India for a new code just to prove they bought Windows. That is why I love OSS, no damn codes....except for source.
