Yes it appears as a drive. No its not usuable. The IPOD has a database of sorts (akin to an index.dat) which is used by software such as Itunes to map file names to titles and such. So using the IPOD via an explorer view doesn't work. Now the other players out there (like sandisk) work just fine using this method.
Um EasyUbuntu makes media support a piece of cake. Including mp4 files. Thank you. (Yes I realize this leaves other distros out but seeing the popularity of Ubuntu with desktop users I don't think its an issue).
It seems to me that there has been a progressive restriction on Americans travelling around their own country.
Think about the 55mph speed limit for example.
What 55 mph speed limit? In most of the united states its 70 mph.
How realistic is it to travel across the country at 55mph?
You are presuming people would travel across by car. Most of this thread has been about rail travel.
Any journey further than about 400 miles becomes an overnight trip.
Um no. I travled about 700 miles in a day. Between Ventura and Las Vegas and back. Took about 6 hours.
Why should Americans have to drive at such a snails pace over such vast distances when Germans (for example) have effectively no speed restrictions (on the autobahn) and their country it tiny by comparison?
The autobahn is vastly different from the road system in the US. It (and the cars that use it) are designed for high speed travel.
If you wanted to restrict the ability of Americans to travel freely around their own country (because its such a large country) this is where you'd start.
You'd then restrict rail travel making the service so bad that noone wants to travel by rail anymore, meaning less revenue for the rail system and therefore meaning cutbacks in service until its just not realistic any more.
You'd then start to constrict air travel making it very inconvenient and prone to unexpected delays due to oh I don't know lets see now how about 'security concerns'?
Get off the paranoid juice and tighten your tin foil dude.
Bayesian filters don't learn what is spam. They learn what isn't spam. And that's very user-specific.
Um no. They do comparisons based on two databases. One of ham and one of spam.
A group corpus is based on consensus. That is my point. It is NOT an automated learning. It is based on user input.
Read. Understand. Then respond.
I disagree. I have done some research on this in the past and found that the group dictionaries work best when they are comprised of indivudal databases and the group database. So if enough people mark stuff as spam it gets added.
This will cause the classification counts for those words to become more equalized, and the value of those words in determining spammyness to be greatly reduced. However, this is an impossible task unless the spammer has access to the actual emails of the target.
Perhaps now with the AOL release of data that task could become easier.
Having reported problems to microsoft and worked with people who do, I can say that Microsofts response to security issues is prompt DEPENDING ON THE PRODUCT. For excel and exchange the issues were fixed quickly and quietly. I don't know about other products and haven't delt with them. Obviously if you look at my website and the Projects I am involved in you will see why I have reported things for these products.
Actually your attitude in this post and the first one are very indicative of an arrogant personality. I agree with the poster who says you probably aren't held in the highest regard.
This is a very eye opening look at the brain. I would like to chat with you offline. Please e-mail me @ charles@thewybles.com
This subject interests me for a variety of reasons far to many to mention here. This is not a troll by any means.
You sir need something from http://sandisk.com/Products/Catalog(1014)-MP3_Play ers.aspx

Oh I know. I was just feeling fistey. Slow day at work :)
You will be disappearing from the internet and the world shortly.
HAHA LOL Oh man thats good. I needed a good laugh. Whew.
There are way to many links and reliance on wikipeida in your post.
Woah. You need to chill dude.
I am sure it was just the IT equivalant of my dad can beat up your dad. He is showing off.
Bingo. You hit the nail on the head.
10-12 trips in the last 1.5 years? That is not frequent. I know people who do that many a month.
lol Indeed. Hence why it works best on RedHat
Um no. It would have been called an accident. Know why? Cause secret service would have been there and seen it as such.
That should be modded funny lol

I agree with this. Libranet and Gentoo have always been somewhat niche distros.
Why in the blue green blazes was this modded off topic? Its hillarious and on topic. It should be +5 Funny.
Oh and the captcha for this post is fueled
