It's not the sheet metal that does this at all, it's the frame, unibody, and/or other structural components. The skin of the car doesn't do shit. Ever have a shopping card hit your door, even at a slow speed? The sheet metal bends and that bend stays as a dent.
It's the frame that keeps you from being crushed, and that's not some thin sheet metal like that they use for the roof, door skins, hood, fenders, etc.
No, I believe you're correct. Even the late 80 (2nd gen) RX-7's did this. They used an air pump instead of an EGR system to feed air into the exhaust to help with emissions.
I beat they may change their mind about this if enough travels had the "balls" to opt-out of the backscatter, get the pat down, and pretend they really enjoyed it when the agent got to "the resistance"
But its not a 60hz refresh rate, its 60 fps. They imply different things. The 60hz would be up to the screen, the 60 fps means the game + graphics processor can feed that many frames per second to the display driver, but if the display driver only does 45hzs.. Then unneeded frames. If the screen does 120hz refresh rate, then the 60 fps is really only feeding the display driver half of what the actual display panel is capable of

So there was an error trying to get the error document that was needed for the first error... wow
All of the Samsung Galaxy S phones have the same CPU IIRC. They all use a 1GHz Hummingbird cpu. These include the Verizon Wireless Fascinate that my wife has, the Sprint Epic 4G, I forget the AT&T model name, the original (and fastest Android phone released at the time) Galaxy S i9000 that I have on Immix Wireless.
The biggest differences are things like the i9000 has no flash, a front facing camera, and 1 physical button and two soft touch buttons at bottom of screen, the Fascinate has no front facing camera (IIRC), a flash, and 4 soft touch buttons below screen. Oh, the other huge difference is my i9000 comes unlocked and "unbranded" since Immix doesnt lock or really mess around with their phones
You guys do realize Symbian runs Java... well I'm not sure about the newest versions of their MeeGo or whatever, but Symbian 60 v30 or whatever does. Also, RIM applications are Java run on the JVM within the BlackBerry OS.. way to just limit this to Google/Android!
Yes, but the term PC initially was used to identify the IBM PC. Then the PC clones came out (that mimicked the operation of the IBM PC), hence the term PC. It wasn't saying it's the only personal computer, but was used in reference as IBM PC clone/compatible. It's just like you don't Xerox something, you copy something, but the term Xerox was used in that manor
As others have said.. seriously? Have you not played with an Android (or any other smart phone on Verizon?) You can download and install your own apps with or without a store.. Windows Mobile, Android, BB OS, etc.
I don't know where you read that, or got that idea, but no. Samsung Fantastic: Market works fine. Can install apps from websites fine. Etc Etc.
My BlackBerry: Used the BB App World just fine. Installed from Websites just fine, etc, etc.
My old Win Mobile phone: No app store, could install from websites just fine, etc.
Typed in the MAC (00-23-97-20-EA-9B) and got this: Sorry, didn't find anything for 00-23-97-20-ea-9b.
Also tried the other two links.. one just brings up my router page (192.168.1.1:80) which asks for a login & password, and the firefox one (I'm using Chrome) doesn't work either. Well kind of. If I enable location services in Chrome, it will load a map, but it won't place a mark anywhere, and it's centered on a town about a 35 minute drive away.
Haven't really played with it yet, but you can get the BlackBerry Dev tools for free. They provide a plug-in for Eclipse to develop the Java apps for BlackBerrys, even provide tutorials, examples, and even phone simulators. Granted it's not the platform you're looking into, but I know Symbian phones will run MIDP java apps (they have the full stack in the S60/S80 OS), so an app that will run on a BB *should* also run on a Symbian phone. I'm not sure if an MIDP app would also run on an android or not... but just wanted to toss that out there
You're lucky. My son would touch the screen a few times, and then try to eat the damn thing. That's how my Storm died, and my wife's phone. He was 6 months at the time
Just wanted to throw is out there.. most of the Symbian OS's (at least S60, S80, and that U whatever OS version) will run regular MIDP java apps. So that means they run the OS tailored versions (IE> ones made for say S60 third release like my N95 runs), or generic MIDP apps that could also include ones that would run on the BB Java engine.. such as MIDPssh. It's actually quite nice it has that stack in the OS. Now if they just made it easy to make a java app that would run on Android, Symbian, and BB OS....
Well, Verizon is trying to get away... The Samsung Fascinate comes with Bing as the default search (both on the home page and as the default voice search) with no way to remove or change it unless you root the phone
Nokia phones also support anything and everything under the sun. I have an older N95 (original, not 8GB, which puts it around 2007ish). Out of the box it supports SIP/VoIP, even having settings for Internet Telephony. With it setup, when I place a call the phone asks if I'd like to use SIP or my cellular plan. Supports a lot of the bluetooth profiles, and you can download apps for the ones not already setup on the phone, Infared, etc, etc, etc. It plays OGG, MP3, ACC, WMA, etc and a lot of video formats too. Uses Real Player to support Youtube and many other streaming sites. Front facing camera so you can do Video calls as well (as long as the carrier supports it), and even if they don't you can use Fring or another app to hold your video calls with another phone that supports it... which isn't Fring on an Android. I mean the capabilities of the phones are amazing. The downside is, the CPU's are slow, and it shows when you pick an option in a menu. Theres a delay/lag between screens.
You'd be hard pressed to find another phone from around 2007 (maybe earlier, not sure when all those features made it into the Symbian/Nokia setup) that comes out of the box as loaded as they do.
No, the developer still got their money. Now you're just paying back the CC co
Correction, ALL 3 models list that
http://www.chippc.com/thin-clients/jack-pc/
2 of the 3 models they sell list this as a spec in the spec sheets
100% Virus / Trojan Immunity
On top of that, they run (unlike someone incorrectly said they run linux) Operating System Enhanced Windows CE-6.0 R2
Read the specs for each of the three models yourself lol
It's just a stretchy firewall to keep all of that sper... spam out
errr forgot to add, and if you are using it for a legit reason as you had proposed, then why does it need to work in a fashion that's so hidden?
How is this app not illegal? It's basically wire tapping, invasion of privacy, and I'm sure there's other things that would be covered here.

and the gas powered Mazda 2 is suppose to get 70 mpg using 14:1 compression ratio and direct fuel injection

So what about the androids with the VR chips?

Sure we do! It's that Zodiak symbol between Virgo and Scorpio, right?
Actually, I was rather happy. That thing was a POS. Now I'm back to using my old Nokia N95
