Wouldn't it pick up the McDonald's wifi better and try to connect to that instead of another network? Which is a problem since you have to pay at McDonalds.
Who asked for it? McAfee? They're the ones that should test the update files they're putting out. Same with other A/V companies. However, it doesn't seem like they do. Now I'm a bit worried, because eTrust apparently doesn't test their updates either. As they put out an update a while ago that disabled the virus protection.
The PS3's price is probably the most critical factor as to if it succeeds. Hardly anyone will buy a $700 console. I'm wondering just how much of a loss Sony is willing to take.
Of course, Nintendo's Revolution will probably be $200 and still make them a profit. I like a powerful system, but I'm not rich, so the Revolution w ill probably be the first next-gen system I buy.
They would've had to look at at least 50,000 lines of code. Since they found 32 hundredths of a defect in 1,000 lines of code. (They could've found 16 defects in 50,000 lines). Wait, that doesn't seem right. Anyone want to enlighten me?
You can lose all your work with paper too. Losing your backpack, soaking your notebook, etc. At least with a computer, it's much easier to back up. Put it on the university network space and let them back it up if you wish.
You could always get a tablet. Although, I don't have one, so I do use regular pencil and paper for taking notes in math class. Hardly anyone in non-computer science uses a laptop to take notes though. OK, it is more distracting, and I have used AIM and such during classes I found to be boring. But I'm not as bad with that anymore. I've even gone to Wikipedia and gotten a diagram for my notes.
Cornerstone University here buys all Freshmen and Juniors laptops. They don't offer a Computer Science degree though, so going there was out of the question for me.
Will/can archive.org mirror the videos? The nice thing about archive.org's videos is that they provide MPEG2 downloads. The bad thing is that they don't provide high enough bitrate MPEG4 downloads.
There aren't many results for me specifically. I have a common firt name, but a less common last name. Most searches for me return someone with the same last name but different first name. Usually basketball players, which I am not.
And only one official Windows kernel exists. So? And I believe you'll be able to run Apache on all versions of Vista as well. Possibly not Starter. And the main difference between the Windows versions is applications as well. Although, most are applications for controlling the OS.
That's the way Yahoo does it, AFAIK. But I don't think they update enough. Doesn't Google also use cached RSS for their custom homepage thing? At least, for things like Slashdot.

Actually, with a hack, it is. It's using a version of the terminal services from a SP2 beta. Not sure if there are any security problems though.
Actually, Goatse and Tubgirl are green.

The original Xbox could handle a 16 way voice conference while playing a game. So it can't be that processor intensive.
The first public university in Indiana, according to the summary. Which is a bit too specific to actually make this very important.

Media Center is based on Pro as far as I know. It includes Remote Desktop and all that.
The Revolution better not cost over $200. It's only twice as powerful as a Gamecube, thus why should it cost over twice as much?
I had a 75 mhz Pentium machine running Windows 95. I ran K-Meleon on it. It took a few seconds to bring up pages, but it worked.

I use Greasemonkey and the download link script.
Not as unfortunate as IANAL.
Linux-NTFS can't write NTFS files, can it? At least, not very well.
Microsoft termed it the Duke, AFAIK.
And, how do you set it up?
I'm pretty sure both sided would stop fighting against each other, and start fighting whoever dropped the nuke. Starting WWIII.

I have a PS/2 to USB adapter I got with a keyboard sitting around somewhere. Do those only work with keyboards, or any USB device?
