So the Telco wants to call in regulators to allow them to rollout their highspeed network, meanwhile Cox, an existing provider there, has raised the price for high-speed access 4 times already. They need regulations on the price, not the service providers.
And as for the comments on whether internet access will help the poor areas of America, in this case the University of Lousiana is in their backyard. So broadband access is a must if they hope to draw businesses that will do research associated with the University.
Yeah has simply licensed this software from Idealab, which is the company that makes X1. People that are familiar with X1 know it was the successor to Lotus Magellan. It'll be an okay desktop search engine, but Idealabs already admits that it doesn't have the power to be in the business market, so it will continue to develop its X1 product for its potential business customers.
I'm not sure how the laws are down in US, but up here in Canada, the judge can rule that you are forbidden from profiting from your crime.
Specifically the law can provide that you are not permitted to sell publishing rights of any sort. Hopefully this will apply, and if not, it would be nice to see 30,000 people take up a class action law suit to recoup their losses after he makes his supposed $100M.
A 14 year sentence is pretty substantial. Its important to tamper justice with mercy.
I'm empathetic to anyone that has been a victim of this kind of crime. I can only imagine the kind of personal violation you must feel. However, take comfort in knowing bubba is going to have a new little bitch on C-block:)
I totally agree. The employer should be somewhat accountable for the actions of their employee and the negligence on their part. Obviously the system was designed in an insecure manor if the help desk technician had access not only to the accounts, but to the codes as well. The company is the one that should be on trial here.
Actually, studies have shown those high levels aren't necessarily a contributing factor to obesity as much as they are factor in an increased waistline. Cortisol apparently makes people retain more fat in their midsection specifically.
Well just from my own personal experience, with many consecutive sleepless nights, I find I don't each as much but I drink alot more fluids. However, I have to agree that music sounds so much better... that is until I start hearing, and eventually seeing, things that aren't there.
Did it not occur to anyone that if you're sleeping you're incapable of eating?? I mean if some lardass is up for 20 hours/day, then he's going to consume 30-40 tacos vs. 10-20 tacos if he's sleeping for 20 hours/day.
This same logic means that people quit smoking, everyday -- right before bed. The longer they sleep, the better they are at getting over their addiction?:|
Microsoft has to be one of the greatest companies in the world. People create problems; they produce solutions. People have potential; Microsoft has the passion.
Ah you're right. My apologies. Now that I reread your comment, that's actually pretty witty.
