I'm not sure how your cable provider works in your area, but in Connecticut comcast broadcasts basic and expanded basic channels 2-99 unencrypted. Only reason to have a digital box is to receive on-demand programing and any digital channels. Can we even call them digital channels considering they may be broadcast over the main cable encrypted in digital form, received by the cable box only to be converted to an analog output to be sent to your t.v. over a coax cable.

  4. Re:About time... on Record Labels Struggle With the Album's Demise · · Score: 1

FTA "but buyers of digital music are purchasing singles over albums by a margin of 19 to 1." So, the consumer is demanding thru musical choice and listening habits, to reduce our musical talents (if we can even call them musically talented these days) to one hit wonders, not the traditional muscial artist that produces a compilation like Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon", were it makes sense to listen to the tracks Brain Damaged > Elcipse as one song. Or the entire album from begining to end which has a Theme. The Flaming Lips are another good example their albums in their entirety are solid musical master pieces. It saddens me that these days are coming to an end.

  6. My mozilla wishes on Planning For Mozilla 2.0 · · Score: 1

I'd like to see the email client be able to store attachmeents in a folder like Opera does that would be sweet. I also do hope to see Mozilla make it to 2.0 I preffer a suite browser/email client having the two incorporated together just seems to work best for me as my email client is just a single click from a toolbar. rather than having two programs like firefox/thinderbird
