If you're asking "Why does Apple still sell a 16GB device?", the answer is simple: they charge a monthly fee for iCloud storage, so anybody too cheap to pay the extra $100 for memory pays through the nose in monthly fees instead. My daughter can fill up her 16GB iPhone with video and pictures in about a week, but then she's a member of "generation selfie".
I bought an S7 to replace my S5. My observations: 1) Finger print scanner is much, much better 2) S7 has no Infrared blaster 3) S7 case is really slippery, meaning adding a plastic case for protection/grip is a necessity 4) iPhone 6S still isn't waterproof and still doesn't have wireless charging; if you want an iPhone, perhaps the iPhone 7 will fix these flaws. Also, currently the S7 has a much faster processor than the A9 in the iPhone 6; we are still waiting to see if the A10 will leapfrog the Snapdragon 820, but I'd still recommend waiting for the iPhone 7 if you _must_ have an iPhone.
FBI's job is to take on domestic criminals, not foreign ones. As far as the mafia, their connection to government isn't clear, but it seems likely they had people in the Federal government watching out for them. Shooting bank robbers makes better press, and "back in the days" the FBI seemed to be driven by publicity, not results.
So when Il Duce Trump gets into power, he's going to round up all the people like me who called him a moron online, and put them all in concentration camps? Yeah, that is pretty chilling...
There still appears to be an assumption of anonymity in many online forums. Which is actually a rather false assumption. In fact, Mr. anonymous coward, I know exactly who you are!
Make all politicians carry bodycams 24/7? That's sounds like a great idea, especially when you consider the fact that politicians always know where the best strip clubs are!
And those companies started sending me massive amounts of advertising for newborn baby products, when my wife had already had a hysterectomy and my daughter was 12, leaving me wondering, "Do these marketing geniuses know something I don't?" I had to go ask my wife and daughter, "Is there something you're not telling me?" Nope, turns out sometimes these "private companies keeping tabs on things" are completely clueless! Of course, it doesn't help that I keep trying to deluge them with false data at every opportunity. Yes, I am a 90 year old pregnant black woman, honest!
Personally, I've gotten pretty tired of listening to the rants of Malheur Wildlife Refuge Occupier supporters and even Racists for Trump online, and I wish they'd get a clue that government agencies are hoovering up all the crap they post online, and WILL use it to make a case against them should they ever piss off the wrong people. We need to remind people of their 5th Amendment rights: You have a right to remain silent, anything you say online can and will be used against you!
Not really. A slashdot nerd was asked, "Would you sleep with a gorilla for $500?"
His response was, "Yeah, I guess... but you've got to give me a couple weeks to raise the money!"
I downloaded Stagefright Detector on my Galaxy S7, and it says "Your device is not vulnerable to Stagefright. Everything is OK." Now if I could only get that kind of feedback in other areas of my life!
Toll charges in Washington state are now done by optically recognizing your license plate, then mailing you a bill -- regardless of what state the vehicle is licensed in. (I wonder if they have a reciprocal agreement with Canadian provinces too.) I know because my ex-wife uses a car still registered in my name to visit her friend in Redmond, and by the time the mail got forwarded twice, she had run up $50 in fines for not paying her tolls. And, get this: not receiving the bill is not a valid excuse for not paying it!
Because you know pedophiles are going to use any of the hundreds of 3rd part apps to encrypt all there communications, i.e. the ones that Apple can't help at all to decrypt... or were you being sarcastic in the first place?
To a certain extent, the troll is right: attacking Trump increases his support from his followers. My worst fear is that someone will attempt to assassinate Trump and fail, thereby making him enough of a hero to get elected. Of course, I wouldn't put it past Trump to fake an assassination attempt just to increase his "ratings", because he is enough of a narcissist to do that.
Any software paid for by public funds should be made available for public use, duh! We also need to open source all textbooks, and put all the for-profit textbook companies out of business. Seriously, a huge chunk of our education budget goes to publishers, and open source text would be freely downloadable to tablets, making it cheaper, more current, and more correct, sense any errors could be instantly corrected. Put out bounties, and pay students for finding "bugs" in the text, that'll make those little buggers study!
Because this will TOTALLY cut into their sales of the AIX operating system... oh wait, we had to port our Ion Beam Microscopes from AIX to Linux because nobody supported AIX anymore... so why should IBM give a shit? They've pretty much switched from supporting AIX to Linux anyway.
Discouraging future hires is only a problem if they ever attempt to return those jobs to U.S. citizens, which given the current quarterly profit driven business myopia, is not even a consideration. Foreign workers won't really know about their past dickish behavior, and most customers won't care... people keep buynig from Walmart because it's cheap, not because they treat their employees well! As far as going postal, you'd be surprised how many companies that told me my services were no longer required still didn't stop me from walking in weeks later (one of them never did an exit interview or took my badge back, and I could just show the badge to the receptionist despite it being blocked in the access control system). Fact is, in almost every company, you can just show up during normal work start/stop times and follow someone else through the badge-reader controlled door.Intel is the only company I know that actually had human guards preventing tailgating.
You obviously don't take 100 selfies every day, like the majority of iPhone owners do! (Especially the female ones, like my daughter.)
Please tell me where I can get a _reliable_ Micro SD for $40. Trust me, I've had Micro SD cards fail, although usually reformatting them fixes it.

The Trump campaign is using the movie "Idiocracy" as a how-to manual rather than a warning...
Apparently the FBI has found this obscure legal principle known as the "GPL", and has used it to force Linux to turn over source code... bastards!

Have they asked for the source code to Linux yet?

Because all the Wells Fargo Bank employees I know are gay? (Ok, I don't know very many Well Fargo Bank employees...)

You're confusing them with Der Wienerschnitzel...

Just keeping drinking that koolaid; you'll be rewarded in due time...
