Is this technology being used in current drives? The reason I asked is because I wonder how this "patent" relates to the $100 500GB drives that we can buy these days.
Another had a custom listening room built as an annex to his house.
I'm not sure what's the 'problem' with having a dedicated room for listening. If all the room are the same in terms of acoustics, then you may as well listen the stuff in your bathroom. I'm not an audiophile but I do occasionally record and mix for local musicians. I've never came across a mix/master engineer do his work in a bathroom.
.... in a 'wholesale' grocery place, costco and bestbuy has the practice that there's this guy standing at the exit of the shop and will examine people's receipt and make a marking on the receipt. I wonder if it is blatant violation of civil rights. Somehow I never heard there's any similar incident in here.
When you have 2 ruling political parties, it is easy to make things black or white. When you have about 5 or so like many European countries, you have to include intermediate shades of color. That's also probably why there are no run-off federal elections for President.
From an outsider point of view, I see US has 2 shades of grey, but not really black and white.
Honestly, because of the pricing, for the last 10 years I simply did not buy or listen to anything (maybe a few) new on CDs. Continuous price drop may draw me back to the store. I never liked listening to downloaded stuff anyway and the packaging means something to me.
Maybe they can't recognize siblings at all. Maybe the genetics are close enough so that the plant can not distinguish its own root from that of its siblings.
This is sort of saying, they can recognize non-siblings/own roots because the genetics are so different.
The unions don't fight for those employees, because it is an old boys club, and they don't care unless you're actually part of the union.
This is the part I have most trouble with. It's so sad to see my friends still working as a 'temp' after so many years. Just beyond my belief.
May be it is different in different industry?
I don't have much 1st hand experience but the school teachers union here is just an old-boys club - the new grad will need to work as a sub (non-union) for at least 5-6 years before even having a chance to become a real teacher. While there are 'life-time' teachers there that never advance themselves and used notes that's 20 years old... Unions always give an image of 'slack', 'you scratch my back, I scratch yours', 'non-competing'.

Did anybody patent this technology?
Wow... so with this helmet, you can actually control God? Does that make you above God then?

smaller got eaten by bigger, and generally, hot is tastier than cold.
"Go fu*k herself?"
See, I know MS develops buggy code. Even their license generator stop working!

... will make a similar announcement in 5 years saying analog TV will still last until 2022.

Those ads make annoying sounds? OM MI GOD! NO WAY!
...which there are still wack loads of stuff that aren't. RIAA is doing SOMETHING right lol.

I think the grandmasters should start on WoW.
I assure you hell WILL break loose if they stop supporting/selling XP in the near future say 6-12 months.
Other 'free' mailing services doesn't have a 'price tag' does not mean they'll do it for free.
If you have not notice people have tried put Skype on their SDA but the cpu on the SDA is somewhat of a limiting factor. It works though.
It'll be bilingual and noted the phrase "except Quebec".
Just $10 for POTS? Our city here in Canada has the good ol' local monopoly equivalent charging $30+ a month for POTS.
Don't blame the gold farmers - blame the people who purchase gold. It's sort of like you're blaming the prostitutes for the 'problem' of prostitution.
