    It's really not that... a private company does not have obligation to provide a unfiltered/non-curated/fair search engine. It's like Fox News website - that's the "best information" for you, they think.

    But like the bus system, there should be 'pricing' system that can make it work for all. I.e. taxi operators makes more (drive more ppl per trip), there's increase in wait time for people but the cost should be cheaper than before, and for people who doesn't want to share, well, higher price.

    Yeah seriously wtf. Streaming does cost some incremental $$$ so NBC serves paid subscribers only. OTA is there... why not? Peace/Global event/Olympic movement blah blah blah has nothing to do with this. Who has the obligation to provide everybody in the world the broadcast so we can watch and sit in our couch and eat pop corn? Or maybe IOC needs to provide TV sets for 3rd world countries?

    Funny you said that because I'd suspect a lot of /. readers reads the summary on /. main page, then go directly to comments page without RTFA. I'm one of them probably 80% of the time, and there's a reason for extensive use of "RTFA" here :)
