    How much mercury is released from a coal plant to power your incandescent bulbs compared to a CFL. The light is not terrible and my farther though some of our lights were incandescent when in fact they were CFLs. You get a rebate for CFL's? down here we don't and they are still being purchased.

    Simple question. A CFL costs $5(figure pulled out of the air) therefore energy cost CANNOT be more then $5. Do you save more then $5 by using a CFL instead of a incandescent? If so then LESS energy HAS to be used.

    You do realise that a 11w CFl produces as much light as a 60w incandescent. 11w about 10w Light 1w Heat 60w about 10w light 50w heat

    If CFLs cause IR noise how come my tv/dvd/sound system remotes + my wii do not have any problems under CFLs?

    I meant total cost including maintenance,installation, land area and the cost of the cells themselves.

    I think once you include the atmosphere your 100 m2 (I always get meters square and square meters confused) becomes 200m2.

    I got thrown a bit with the refrence to the north face (I am in the Southern Hemisphere) where we install it north. (I am guessing your a northern Hemisphere person)

    Solar...very inefficient

    Who cares.

    The real problem is cost per kWh.

    Get that down to under grid prices and then it doesn't matter if it is only 1% efficient.

    If you are not including Wii sports because it is bundled in world wide sales then it is unfair (In Japan it is not bundled) so at the very least you have to add the 2.23 Million sold in japan for wii sports. Compare the closet region for the 360 to the wii in japan (4.36M in Others vs 3.87M Japan) 1.65 million sold of halo 3. And for your halo 3 selling more then any other game, you have to use "that every copy wasn't bundled with hardware" (wii play)

    Wrong. 1 meter is equal to the distance traveled by light in vacuum during a time interval of 1/299 792 458 of a second. 1Km is 1000 times that.

    So what happens if you don't break the encyryption when you copy the disk. Example 101010101010 is the code 010101010101 is what is on the disk 010101010101 is what I copy 101010101010 is what the authorised device sees. copy made wihtout breaking encryption
