Interesting I do think it is your influencing beliefs, in eastern based religions there is little or no fear of death because there is the belief in reincarnation. That and the added belief that a fear of death is derived from a relatively "selfish" world view. Because you are contemplating your loss and not the other person's. An eastern world view would be spend time with your son, so when you do die you leave him with loving memories of the time you spent together.
I run a computer sales / repair shop and i do bundle mostly open source offerings, mainly firefox for browsing, dev c++ for C programming (a good number of my customers are CS majors) and other apps. Usually I offer open source software where ever possible, in the case of firefox, the number of complaints i've had of viruses and spyware has been greatly reduced. As a result my clients are more than happy to refer my shop to their friends because of their overall positive experiences. Furthermore using open source apps in my experience have been alot more stable and have helped to reduce the overall cost of the system being sold.
Ok so i decided to upgrade to SP2 finished the download installed ok, then i decide to play a DVD hello what's this my DVD dirve is not there also missing is my cd burner. Turns out that i'm using a lite on combo drive and a lite on dvd burner which don't have trusted drivers and hence won't work. Guess what got removed very quickly:)
While i agree that being impoverished in a 'third world country' are opposed to impoverished in the US is different, the matter of if the person is far better off i disagree. The one main reason people are willing to risk life and limb to get in to the US to live and work is mostly due to the perceived imporovement in their life they hope to gain. For some it is ture and for others it is not. In which case the come back disgusted with the US way of life. As for rising above the poverty line it all depends on where you are here where i live it is possible to rise above the poverty line but what is lacking in most cases is a lack of will power to do so.
Now what is wrong with that i'm from the caribbean an we host some gambling websites. The revenue might not got to american schools but i assure you they go to schools here. It's all demand and supply really.
