Maybe Yahoo already knows that, in the end, Jabber/XMPP will be the only messaging protocol on the net (not even the email will survive), so they just don't care who their partner their IM service with... even if it's Micro$hit.
Although it's kind of unfair to compare a production site to an experimental site, here it is:
browser - google / start
opera - Y / N firefox - Y / Y camino - Y / Y safari - Y / N omniweb - Y / N konqueror - Y / N ie(win) - Y / Y ie(mac) - Y / N
Now you can begin wondering how much effort does Google put on making the sites available for every browser... or.... how badly does Microsoft web designer develop, it all depends on your point of view:).
Well... fortunately, there is. Leaving aside gizmo there is a newborn app called jajah which supports an impressive number of protocols, among them IAX2 which was designed from scratch to work seamlessly behind NATs.
And it offers five minutes of free calls (yes, that is free calls to any phone, anywhere in the world) to any new registered user, and you don't even have to leave your card number! (hey jajah admins... BEWARE OF THE BOTS:) )
Although it's only available for Windows right now, I think it has a lot of potential to become a truly Skype killer
Anyway, it's always good to know that Skype has this kind of competition (jajah, gizmo, etc). That can only be good for all of us, voip users!
Shit, it's a pity the Internet Wayback machine obey (Google Maps) robots.txt rules. Otherwise, our sons and grandsons could easily take a sneak peek at how earth was several years ago.

You can try with aide , which is an opensource replacement for Tripwire.
Aide takes a MD5/SHA1 snapshot of your relevant files and store it for later comparison in order to detect modifications.
Also, keep in mind that you should take proper measures to avoid tampering with the aide tool itself (otherwise, it will be useless). For example, you could keep your aide binary, configuration and database files in a read-only media (like a CD/DVD-ROM).
I remembers listening an Axel F MOD in some DOS teal background player whose name I've shamely forgotten.
And it was amazing... seeing all those spectrum analyzers dancing on the screen following the pretty cool synthesized music.
So, my first experience with mp3 wasn't exactly pleasing.... you see, when I listedend to my first mp3 (I think it was Madonna - You'll see, at 32 Kbps) in my SBPRO, I was screaming inside: I WANT MY MODS!!!.
I guess it all comes down to this question: will you go to see Eps VII, VIII, IX if they are ever released?. Cause if you will, you're cheating yourself in saying that Lucas "ruined your Childhood fantasies", seriously, think about it.
And, rest assured, that's the only question that really matters to the people who will make the decision about Ep 7/8/9 fate.
I, for one, saw Ep 3 already and didn't quite like it, but I know I'm gonna see Ep 7,8,9 because, like Don King said... it's entertainment baby.
They do publish all these things in their official blog though. Subscribe to it if you want to know earlier about newborn services, instead of waiting for some user advertisement to hit you.

Certainly nothing to worry about if you use the last Opera 8.02 which has builtin bittorrent support.
Beta versions available for Linux/Mac/Windows here

I know they said the best way to learn is through examples, but maybe this guy's approach is a little too rough.
