Steve: F^@k, I will close down fox.. yeah I will

Bill: What do we do now?

Steve: Call up Winsupersite and Neowin, will have to do with them for now

  4. Nice bootup times on Mandriva Linux 2006 Released · · Score: 1, Interesting

Have been using Mnadrake at home since their 9.1 release, running LE2005 now. They did have a buggy release in 10, but 2006 seems to have shaped up to be a good distro.....

I stick to centos in office. Why do people keep cribbing about the zillion linux distros? KDE feels great at home and gnome looks perfect for office..... and after having used both for few years, I can say they have come a long way.....

We have started to slowly roll out CentOS to other workstations here, and people who have began using prefer CentOS over WinXP. Only issue holding us back from a complete rollout is lack of Catia(CAD) for Linux

Even my bro has mostly stopped booting Win at home. Looking forward to Mandy 2006.... I think it'll be a distro that will allow me to recommend Linux to a lot of people

Ok, now I know why M$ was getting cynical about Google. Open document format at Commonwealth and office suite that can be accessed via browser and read and write to that format.. with bandwidth getting cheaper by the day M$ will have to use all of the $$billions in bank to stay afloat....

  6. Jobs, stand up on Music Industry Threatens to Pull Plug on Apple · · Score: 0

RIAA members have probably realised that they are no longer needed in the music food chain. Any good artist can get his song recorded at the a studio and put it up at itunes. Consumers will pay and download, if they think the song is good, This is what is pissing RIAA MBAs off, they will probably shout for sometime and then negotiaite with Jobs to continue with 99c, but on the condition that he will not sell music from independent labels and artists. In short, they want to maintain the monopoly they had for so many years..... Using precisly two words lets tell them, what we think -- "F&$k off" -- This showdown will tell us what stuff Jobs is made off...
