  4. Re:Run! Run! Run for your lives! on Windows OS Coming To the Mainframe · · Score: 3, Insightful

Are you kidding? This is the greatest job security coup of all time! World wide IT departments will have to start hiring around the clock. Think of all that buggy, crashing, virus invected software that will constantly require fixing. This will make all that Y2k hype seem like a walk in the park LOL!!!

  5. works for PCs on Windows OS Coming To the Mainframe · · Score: 1

LOL!!! Now IBM will be on the endless Microsoft virus/buggy money train. I think I will buy some IBM stock. This could also put thousands of unemployed programers to work. Constant buggy upgrades, crashing systems, crappy code etc... IBM's revenue should jump 10 fold.

  6. Much to do about nothing on The Case For Piracy · · Score: 1

Most of the crap is not worth any money. That's why the less "piracy" anal film industry is doing better. I can't tell you how many times I have walked into a "hip" college kid establishment and heard the Stones. It's like kids these days don't listem to music from their own era.

  8. Just another one on Church of Scientology On Trial In France · · Score: 1

Given the nature of religion why all the fuss? Fleecing money seems trivial compared with torture, murder, and pedophilia.

  9. Corporate Speak? on Is Corporate Speak Invading Your IT Department? · · Score: 1

I find "Corporate Speak" is most often used by people with nothing useful to say. The same folks usually spend hours on power point presentations when a simple email would do.

My advise is if your boss values such useless wastes of time find a new boss. If you are the boss tell them: Could you repeat that but use english this time.
