Weeeelll... they not changing the story (Kirk will still shoot first). I'm sort of curious to see what they do. I was skeptical when I thought it was just going to be new space stuff and the same old "planet of the styrofoam rocks", but I think it might work better if they touch those up as well.
And the *really* stupid thing is: did the candidate answer the riddle because he has mystical Jedi problem solving skills, or because he simply heard it before on the Internet because the SAME FOUR RIDDLES get used over and over again!
...couldn't get dumber. This is flavor of the week type of stuff, folks. I'm lousy at riddles, but I win design award after design award plus bonuses in my engineering job. I have several patents. I'm sorry, but I just have very little patience for these Grand Unified Theories Of Everything when it comes to dealing with human beings. It just strikes me as HR people looking for ever lazier ways to hire the talent.
Also, Our IT people have that site blocked. I wonder what that riddle means?
I remember there was an L. A. Times story brought up during the Iran/Contra hearings back in the 1980s that was proven, to the satisfaction of BOTH SIDES in the hearings, to be an utter load of BS. The Times made some weak protests, but sort of shut up and lay low for a bit. They've been a source of yellow journalism and slanted coverage for decades. It's just gotten worse in recent years and they've started doing tabloid level hit pieces. They are a pack of ideological cretins who perform a daily rape of press freedoms.
No, the "barely" meant Arnold is barely a Republican.
No one is denying he said those things. Why is verificatin an issue?
I mean at the time they got it. I don't believe they got an audio file from an anonymous source and then just published it. They either knew the sources, or knew where it came from.
Really, who the frig cares from a general computing standpoint? Who needs 8 CPUs?
When you try to raytrace a few hundred million polygons with soft shadows, radiosity, and every optical effect switched on, you will have your aqnswer, grasshopper.
1. Republican (barely) makes SLIGHTLY off color remark that bothers no one, especially the woman the remark was about, who thought it was funny.
2. L. A. Times prints the story from an "anonymous" source without bothering to do any verification.
3. Despite no one with a functioning brain thinking the comment was anything to even care about, extensive media coverage is given to the blubbering hand wringing and panty soiling histrionics of various key Democrats, including Arnold's opponent, who act as if he was caught eating babies on video.
4. It is revealed that the file was taken from a computer by members of the Phil Angelides staff, possibly illegally, and that the L. A. Times probably knew more about the source than they originally let on, suggesting political dirty tricks collusion.
5. Not one mainstream reporter asks the Phil Angelides campaign what happpened to their pledge of "sticking to the issues".
The leftists on Slashdot and elsewhere torture logic to the point that the UN considers issuing a stern finger wagging.
It made me $100 this weekend. My dad saw the trailer for Fly Boys, and when he saw the black pilot, he groused that there were no black fighter pilots until WW2. He's not racist, just a stickler for historical accuracy as he likes history. I bet him $100 there was at least one black fighter pilot in WW1.
You have to need psychotherapy to even consider buying into this format war.
I'll wait until there's a format where, when I push the Menu button after inserting a disc, I DON'T get "operation prohibited by disc". Prohibit my shiny white ass, disc makers!
My mom used to design electronic assemblies for military satellites, and was the "go to" CAD expert where she worked before she retired.:) She was learning her trade at Bell Labs when most mothers were baking cookies and trying to be June Cleaver. When I gave her one of my old Macs, five minutes of training got her up and running.
She also taught me everything I know about blackjack and craps.

Ah, educators! So noble!
Actually, there *is* a lesson here for all of us, although not the one the evil[TM] lawyers and MBAbees would want us to learn.
...all the jobs will be guards for the "relocation" camps to which those that violate Microsoft DRM will be sent.
Aw, geez, here comes another Flambait mod. Oh well.

Your IT people are idiots.
Tell me about it. :(
Cheer up! :) The kids *before* your time were usually crippled by polio or died of cholera by age nine.
C'mon! Bundle Zelda! You'll sell fifteen billion of them.

How does one barely make a remark?

I for one welcome the explosion of information

In some parts of the world, quoting Pauly Shore can get you shot.
No one is sure if the greenhouse effect will cause them to lock up more, or to release more carbon.
Oh, well, case closed then!
I'm sick and tired of the gov- ah, what's the point? :(
*shrug* Then its shiny metal ass can stay at the store.

Take the average and use IPv5. :-) IPv5 don't get no love.
having women in power won't necessarily make for a kinder, gentler world.
That's because it's a certain personality type that goes after power, and that type is gender neutral.
Also, if women ran the world, the Earth would be a bombed out nuclear ruin after the first full moon.
Oh, I'm gonna get modded down...
Zzzzzzzz....
Does a "crime" committed in an alternate world have any ramifications in the "real" world?
No.
I hope this helps.
