Women were not included in the study design, and it was not race insensitive.
For all we know, there could be different reactions, based on pain response, just as people from some regions can't tolerate milk or alcohol, while others can.
It could have been worse, Cortona could have shown him a listing of qualified women of color who should be on his corporate board and in the top executive ranks, instead of his Brahmin-selected white males.
HR incorrectly screens people, and thus prefers certifications, because they have no idea what they're doing in terms of real qualifications, so they get a list of "people in this industry with this profession will have these certifications" and then just look at those, instead of "can s/he do the job".
CEOs think they know what they need, but they also have no clue, so they just use the buzzwords and certifications they think will work. So if the CEO hires you after sitting next to you at a conference, it might mean nothing.
Managers actually tend to know what the job entails, so they know certifications frequently are useless, so they'll ask the hard questions that actually matter.
But, in the end, people hire other people who are like them, so it's more important that you look and act like the people hiring you, and they'll ignore your actual qualifications, anyway.
(sorry if I burst your bubble, but this is why tech firms are filled with mostly white and Indian guys who have certain hobbies, and sales firms are filled with golf players and football enthusiasts)
It's all in the fine print, and the unconstitutional extra-legal actions of those supposed to defend us from outside threats, who spy on us against our own Constitution, state Constitutions, and federal and state laws which do not permit them to do so, but who will never go to jail for their actions in so doing.
Now watch as those whose salaries are paid by pushing more computers and testing post lies that aren't backed by peer reviewed scientific studies, to feather their nests.
doesn't mean they aren't breaking the law even more than you realize.
It's not that Americans are not paranoid about out of control spy agencies crushing our liberties, with the help of local, county, state and other police forces.
It's that we're not paranoid enough.
(there is no truth to the rumor that I held a fairly high clearance or was involved in some of the early coding and creation of some of these programs, just like we all know China is not going to the Moon)
Look, just because the paper says Doctor of Philosophy, it's really a tech degree in Biochem, Statistical Genetics, or Neuroscience. We just call it a Doctor of Philosphy, instead of Doctor of Science or Doctor of Medicine. We only use the latter two for specific disciplines.
Same goes for Bachelor of Arts. A BA does not mean you don't have a tech degree, it just means you're a Data Scientist or something that doesn't have a B.Sc.
Now, would you like an extra topping with that, sir?
Your justification of torture and spying on Americans makes no sense.
One act of insanity and unconstitutional lawlessness does not justify another.
But think of all the military subcontractors this would have put out of work ...
And the F-35 is a royal piece of "shite".
For the price of one F-35, you can get 10-20 better planes, with better fuel profiles, which extend your operational range.
Adapt. The world's not waiting for you.
I was kind of hoping you would volunteer as a male subject, while I would volunteer as a control (no stings)

Better to hire someone with a Bachelors in Business Accounting who has actually some experience in project management instead.
It depends on who you ask.

I remember being in fifth grade in Arlington, Texas, after being born in San Antonio.
Luckily, given that I loved to make science things and collect meteorites and stuff, I wasn't Being A Kid While Black.
Seattle stands with Ahmed.
And this Texan is sad to see the reactions of so-called adults there.
I mean, seriously, when you have a bunch of really noisy neighbors who behave badly, you just don't talk to them.
Can you run in under 2 hours 30 minutes?
Or are you slower?
10 Mbps on my 40 Gbps campus wide backbone is like asking me to crawl like a snail when I'm usually a cheetah.
1 Gbps should be the minimum. Even that feels slow.
Embrace the future.
But would prefer one of the three 100 Gbps nodes on the UW campus if I can get it. Will settle for the campus wide 40 Gbps.
Mbps are for last century.
Adapt.
Yeah. I've only been doing the 'net thing since the 80's. But thank you, Al Gore. All praise be to ye.
70s.
Slacker.
(stares at cluless n00b who is using the Internet he built)
I see.
I stand by what I said.
The research backs me up.
I don't have time to give you a PhD in Education, or even an MSW. Those are the people doing the research.
Sorry that reality doesn't comply with your view.
Mind you, 3D printing would allow you to print out a ruler and other material.
No, I don't. RTFA. Use the keywords. I'm not going to teach you to be a scientist. That's your problem.
For example, try looking at some recent UW news articles specifically about this. Follow the scientific article links.
If you don't know how to do any of the above, why are you commenting on this?
So, google search terms don't work where you are? Really?
And my DNA is my body.

Welcome to serfdom. ... pause ...
Actually, no, serfs had rights.
You don't.
Computers rarely help. Ever.
Now watch as those whose salaries are paid by pushing more computers and testing post lies that aren't backed by peer reviewed scientific studies, to feather their nests.

Nor will they come in one morning with a shotgun and shoot the place up.
The worst mass shooting in US History was by an English major.
Stop saying mean things about Dick Cheney.
