I totally agree with you and on the other hand I decided to give it a try and installed the update. The indexing can be stopped and is usually idle if you are doing something on your PC. The software only indexes the Documents and Settings by default and to top that it's a good piece of software with really good/fast searching.
So stop the MS bashing and agree that it's something better from MS.
Do you think IE will regain the market share from Firefox and other browsers or do you think Microsoft will accept the trend and be more satisfied with lesser percentage?
Can we think of it as a start.... I understand that this is Orkut and this is for a person X... but how long before it becomes Google Search and person "Everyone" Google will give in some day if they are loosing money....
So much for "DO NO EVIL"
Use Yahoo Maps! for live traffic results to check out before you leave your office/house. Google Maps has slipped to a close third position behind MapQuest and Yahoo Maps.
How many times are we going to get into the same argument. An average Joe Shmoe is not going to change to Ubuntu or *nix easily even if MS thinks they are a pirate (which they are not). Its the people who sell machines with pirated copies or hackers/advanced users who should really feel the pressure, but too bad for MS, they always have workarounds.
The overlap you are talking about can be justified if they say that the two calls were from the two lines you have. You can have overlapping calls if you have more than one line.
And how can you forget the dentists..... The entire thing of
expenses in India return ticket + expenses expenses in US
definitely holds true for the dental treatment. In India you get treated by excellent (good English spwaking)doctors/MD's for fraction of the cost of the dentist here in US, even if you have insurance coverage. If things dont change fast enough..... can't imagine
I was just wondering if there would be a similar positive response if Microsoft started paying a small amount to people for using MSN Search or making IE only websites.
What do YOU think ?
Creating a digital library is different than a public library. In a public library, the library pays for the books and the authors earn money over the purchases, while in Google's digital library people are going to read the books without paying and so the authors dont earn from it. I agree that some of the books are overpriced but making digital copies is not an answer. Google is doing EVIL here and i think they should come up with a mutual solution with the publishers and the authors. Digital library is a very good idea but should not be unfair to anyone.

RTFA It actually does use IE as the rendering engine.

to read and archive anything and everything about Google. It has all the news and more and a huge GOOGLE fan base. Wonder if they are related?

But Google also does not accept PayPal for its AdWords advertising program. Is this a case of monopoly as well? Can eBay sue Google for this and win?
