I don't think the operating system has anything to do with it. It also crashes on me in Linux and other people have reported problems with it in MacOS as well.
It's either a corrupt movie file or Quicktime is complete shit. Or both.
Yup, I had the same problem. I tried it without Firefox and the problem was even worse. It completely locked out my mouse, keyboard, and the reset button on my PC. I've been able to reproduce this almost everytime I play it.

I agree! SharpDevelop is one of the best free IDEs I've seen and it has many of the same features as Visual Studio.NET 2003.
Although the latest build has a really nasty crash bug that has to do with the new integrated help. Aside from that, it's a great program.
As much as I would love to see another Baldur's Gate game from BioWare, the series ended in Throne of Bhaal. The Bhaalspawn storyline, which was the main plotline for the entire series, is finished.
Not only that, but BioWare is done with the AD&D universe for the time being and is focusing on their own game world for the (upcoming?) release of Dragon Age. So I highly doubt it will happen any time soon, if ever.
worst bug I stumbled upon twice: if you happen to hard-reset a comp with FF open you may lose all your bookmarks.
While this isn't an actual fix, this will help prevent that from happening: Bookmark Backup
FF wants to save everything in same directory. How about remembering where I last saved pics, html or zip/tar files? How about title of document becoming saved file name? msie is a bit better about that.
The last I checked Firefox DOES do that. It just isn't the default setting.
Go to Options->Downloads. Once there, select "Ask me where to save every file." This should produce similar behavior to IE.

I would highly consider getting one if it wasn't so expensive. I'm not willing to spend $250 on a regular console let alone a portable one. If they lowered the price by about $100 I *might* get be willing to get one. Although even asking $150 is pushing it (which is why I don't have a Nintendo DS).

So basically what you're saying is that because I refuse pay $400+ for a decent nVidia card, I can't use Gentoo? Not only that but because ATI has bad Linux support it's my fault? I suppose you're going to tell me next that I should just get rid of my AMD64 and get an Intel processor? Or perhaps I should just buy a whole new computer. Oh wait, I just did that a year ago.
I love Gentoo but my free time isn't infinite and I refuse to buy expensive hardware for one OS, no matter how good the OS may be.
Will this version actually compile on my AMD Athlon 64 with an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro? Just wondering because the previous versions refused to compile.
Or would I be better off buying a new computer just so I can run this magnificent OS?
