Wouldn't that be fun, the cops could key your RFID tag signal into their guns, make aiming a whole lot easier. I bet they could even kill you with robots while you were trying to get on the subway, not even have to use real cops anymore.
In all the arguments against the dvorak layout that I have been able to find they only compare speed at typing, I switched about 3 years ago, it took me three weeks before I was back up to speed, but my accuracy is much better now than it was before. I would love to see a study that actually compared both speed and accuracy of the competing layouts, even though I can switch back and forth easily.
since when do shut-ins cause social problems?
other than those rare occasions when they do come out and have forgotten to bathe?
Now they are gonna need shut-ins support groups to help them deal with being social problems. I wonder if they would have to meet at large dressing rooms where they could each have their own small closed room.
In my short stint at Adelphia Cable Company, yes the bankrupt one, the legal department used aim to talk to each other. Yes over the public aim servers. Their inbound call center people all used it also. I worked in their internal desktop support section, and no one in the company that knew about this cared. I was amazed. They ran me out of the company after four months.
If you put this together with an article over on wired about how the brain takes several hours to get out of "video game mode" this article becomes a little scarier.
